Part 21: Shots Fired

H Officer Lear calls the twins and some of their friends in. He has a plan in mind and a very serious one at that. He has them sign waivers and have their parents do it too. He's going to have them go undercover.

"Ok guys, can I see your waivers" He says. Aaron, Kian, Gray, E, Luke, James, Alex,and Lauren hand theirs in. Alex and Aaron have become master at forging a signature. They forged to get in this.

"Ok, here's the plan. You're each going to be playing a role. Aaron, Grayson, and Ethan will be doing the most confrontational work. They look the most intimidating out of the bunch. James you'll be playing a role of a guy who's very 80's like. You'll have to act like yourself but flirt with the guys a little. Kian you'll be the sorter of the drugs. Alex you'll be the accountant."

"But I suck at math" Alex whines.

"To bad so sad. This plan has to follow through" Officer Lear says "Lauren your going to be playing a stripper. I need you to be flirting and all over people. Roni and Nessa you stay back and help me direct them. The cartel will know your faces and it'll blow out cover. We might need you guys to go in just in case though"

"Are we sure that they'll be safe?" Mariah asks.

"They'll be wired up and they'll have bulletproof vest on. I promise if anything happens I'll stop it before it escalates" Officer Lear ensures Mariah. Since it's taken him three months to get this far in the case, he thinks that he can easily figure it out with just a little more evidence. He thinks that the teens will help him get that little bit of evidence an the case will be solved.

Mariah is heavily pregnant. She's eight months pregnant. She doesn't know what to do when it's time to deliver the baby. She knows that she can't go to the hospital or they'll get caught. A home birth seems way to difficult, but that's her only choice. She prays that a miracle happens before her angel is born. She doesn't even know the gender, she barely has a place for you it to live, she doesn't even know if it's healthy or not. She closes her eyes and keeps praying for a miracle.

The twins are super nervous for tonight. They don't want anyone getting hurt. They also just want to be out there. They want to help bust the people who killed their dad. They're turning eighteen next month and that's all they want for their birthday. They want their dad to be here but the closest they can get to that is finding who took him away. Their relentless. They'll do anything to find who it is and they'll even risk their lives for it.

No one has ever told Andrew much. He's kind of glad because after the last thing he was told he was a little bit scarred. Now that he knows that he doesn't want to be told what's going on. Even through all that's going on everyone is still paying attention to him. For the first time in forever he doesn't feel left out when something is going on. Mariah plays with him while everyone else is getting dressed and in character. Roni and Nessa let him wear some clothes that they brought for costumes. Aaron, Gray, and E make him look tough. He's really having fun. He leaves with them to the police station. Mariah takes care of him while everyone's getting set up.

Mariah does Lauren's hair and Roni works on the makeup and Nessa picks out the outfit. She finds a very revealing outfit.

"Is this stripper like enough?" Nessa asks. The girls all giggle.

"I think that's good enough" Lauren says. "It's basically just a bra and some shorts"

"You're lucky it's not really cold tonight" Roni says

"You would freeze. Are you sure you don't want a coat or something?" Mariah asks

"Actually a faux fur coat will go well with that. I love your mom instincts Mariah" Lauren says
