Once we arrived that the jewelry store, we met up with Keller, Alotren, and the team of agents.
"Lock it down." May ordered.
As we scanned the area, we saw all the security guards dead. Alotren inspected them closer to confirm their deaths. He wore a grim look. "They're dead."
I glanced over at May to see her already heading towards the vault. Alotren, Elena, Keller, and I followed her to see the lock blown off of the door.
"The lock's blown." May informed us.
"So they're still in there?" I inquired.
"No one's left the building." Keller commented.
"Check the perimeter." May urged as she looked over at Elena.
Elena then used her powers, quickly running around the entire building. Alotren's eyes widened in shock. I remember when I first saw Elena and Daisy use their powers, I was stupefied. I couldn't believe there were people in the universe who had the ability to do the things Daisy and Elena did.
"There's no other exits. If they want to leave, they'll have to get through us." Elena explained.
"Did she just..." Alotren trailed off, trying to wrap his head around what he just saw.
"You get use to it." Keller mentioned.
At that moment, a few agents approached us with machines to cut through the vault's door. May seemed restless as she looked over at us. "This all feels wrong."
Elena nodded. "I know. Why follow a terrorist attack with a jewel heist? What could they want?"
May shook her head. "Not sure."
"Maybe they're searching for something. Perhaps they need something that can be found here on Earth?" I suggested.
Elena snorted. "Wouldn't be the first time."
"Whatever it is, I know no version of Coulson would come in here without an exit strategy. I need to see into that vault." May urged.
Keller then handed her his tablet. Once May looked around, she furrowed her brows. "How many people did Mack say went in there?"
"Three plus a hostage." Keller informed us.
"Then why do I see five heat signatures?" May questioned.
We all exchanged baffled looks. May then glanced over at me. "Storm."
She didn't have to say anything else, I already knew what she was going to ask me to do. I nodded. "On it."
As May held up the tablet for the others to see, I closed my eyes, using the Force to reach out and see who was on the other side. I then saw the same woman from the museum along with Phil, a man who popped out of the same cement wall as the other man who had gotten stuck, another man who I had never seen before who was muscular and tall, and a woman working here, who was the hostage. I saw them using advance technology, to create an opening from one of the walls.
"That wall is two feet thick, steel and concrete." Elena commented.
"They have a way out." May mentioned.
Keller furrowed his brows. "How? Some kind of tech?"
"Yeah, one thing's certain. They're not primitive beings. They've got technology that this world has never seen." I commented.
"And have you seen this technology before?" May asked.
"It's pretty advanced, but yes I have." I replied.
