My eyes opened, and I found myself no longer on Earth. I was back in my home galaxy on the planet Yavin 4. I glanced around to see the Jedi Temple in flames. My stomach dropped. What happened? In the distance, I saw several figures dressed in black robes. Curiosity getting the better of me, I walked towards them.
Once I reached them, I couldn't make out any faces, since they were all wearing helmets and masks. However, amongst them, I saw Ben and next to him stood Obi, and Stass dressed in the same black robes as the others. They were the only two without masks. My face fell. "No...it can't be."
"This is your fault, Storm. You were holding me back. I am much more powerful than I ever imagined." Stass mentioned.
"I will help restore order and peace to the galaxy. I'll do whatever it takes to save this galaxy and those I love, mom. Please understand this." Obi insisted.
My heart shattered upon hearing their words. My own daughter called me, Storm, instead of mom. And my own son has turned, believing that its his only option to save the galaxy and those he cares about. What did I do? Where and when did I fail Stass, Obi and Ben?
"Why didn't you tell me that I'm the grandson of Darth Vader?" Ben inquired.
"Ben, Obi, Stass, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. That was never my intention." I assured them.
"Liar!" Stass and Ben both shouted.
The scenery then changed into a room that I had never seen before. Inside the room, there was a huge throne, the Throne of Sith. My heart dropped. Where was I? At that moment, I heard an ominous voice from behind me.
"Welcome Storm Ca'ana."
Upon hearing that familiar voice, a chill ran down my spine. It can't be...he died. I saw him fall down the reactor shaft. Reluctantly, I turned around to find Palpatine standing just a few feet away. He had a hood over his wrinkled and pale face. His eyes were glowing yellow. I narrowed my eyes. "Palpatine..."
Palpatine let out an evil chuckle. "You think you've seen the last of me, Ca'ana? Oh you're far from wrong. I gave you a chance to join me, but you turned me down. Now you will suffer the consequences."
"I will not become a pawn like you did with Anakin, Jinx, or my grandfather." I shot back. "And this time, you will die."
Palpatine shook his head. "No, no, no. You will die."
At that moment, lightning appeared from his fingertips before making its way towards me. I quickly took out my lightsaber before igniting it, revealing a dark blue blade with an orange glow.
"You underestimate me, Palpatine. I'm not the same reckless young girl you once knew." I warned.
"There is no escape from your destiny, Storm. You will die at my hands." Palpatine shot back.
I turned to my side to see a young woman around the age of twenty with fair skin, brown hair, and hazel eyes was struggling against Palpatine as well, absorbing his lightning with a blue lightsaber.
"Come on, Master, we can take down Palpatine together." The woman urged.
Together we pushed forth, using our lightsabers to shove back Palpatine's lightning. As we pressed on, I could feel my energy draining from my body. I could hear Palpatine laughing as I did my best to hold on. However it wasn't long until I no longer had any strength left. My eyelids grew heavy as I collapsed onto the ground.
My eyes shot open at once as I let out a gasp, startled with what I had just seen. I looked down to see my hands were glowing. For some reason, I felt stronger instead of weaker, there was energy surging through my veins. I was no longer shaking nor were my hands red. That's strange...I glanced over to sees one of Nathaniel's men on the ground. Daniel was using the keys, freeing Daisy from her cuffs. He then looked over at me. "How do I free you from that thing?"
