We then watched as the ships fired orange blasts, hitting Earth. We watched in horror as they continued firing away on Earth. We didn't know who they were killing, but it definitely wasn't good.
"Are those space lasers?" Daniel asked.
"Just lasers that happen to be in space." Daisy stated.
"But they're weapons, right?" Daniel inquired.
"One hundred percent." Daisy confirmed.
I grimaced as I began to feel immense pain throughout my entire body. I could feel the deaths of all those who were being killed on Earth, which overwhelmed me. I hadn't felt this in so many years. It was too much for me to handle at once, so I sat down in the co-pilot's seat, which Daniel, Daisy, and Mack all noticed.
"Hey, Storm, are you okay?" Mack questioned.
I let out a shaky sigh. "Yeah, I...I'm just feeling all those who have been killed on Earth by the Chronicoms."
"You can feel all those who died?" Daniel asked, looking baffled.
"Yes, it's a great disturbance in the Force. And it causes me great pain." I explained.
As I looked over at Daniel, I could sense he was worried for me. He placed a hand on my shoulder. "Will you be all right?"
I nodded. "Yes, I just need to breath and relax."
I then took a deep breath before focusing on my surroundings, using the Force to lessen my pain. And slowly the pain gradually decreased to a more tolerable pain. Once I was feeling better, I moved out of the seat so Daisy could sit down and procedure with landing on the Zephyr.
"Well, the good news is their ships aren't aimed at us, which means they probably don't see us yet." Daisy stated.
"Hope that's still true after I do this." Mack mentioned. He then turned on all the systems within the Quinjet. "All right, we got less than a minute before we dock with the Zephyr or the other thing's gonna happen."
"Let's say we manage to dock with the Zephyr. And somehow rescue Simmons, Anara, and Deke. Then what?" Daniel asked.
"One problem at a time." Mack advised.
"Here we go. Three...two...one." Daisy said.
Daisy and Mack then managed to land the Quinjet onto the Zephyr. We let out sighs of relief. Mack turned to face. "Nice flying, Tremors."
"I thought it was Quake." Daniel commented.
At that moment, the entire Quinjet shook around. We all exchanged looks of horror. Whatever that was didn't mean anything good.
"What was that?" Mack questioned.
"Are we hit?" I inquired.
"No. I think they've locked on to the Zephyr." Daisy explained.
We looked up to see a giant Chronicom ship pulling us towards it. We watched as the hangar doors opened up for us as we made our way inside. The hangar was huge and rather spacious, the walls were filled with small blue glistening lights.
"So...I guess this is the next problem." Daniel mentioned.
As we got up, we made our way towards the door of the Quinjet, prepared to take down any enemy that may barge in. I took out my lightsaber, holding off on turning it on for now. Mack raised his shotgun with an axe, while Daniel took out his guns. Daisy extended out an arm, prepared to quake whatever stood on the other side.
"It is possible they're on the other side, doing the exact same thing?" Daniel asked.
We exchanged a look, knowing he wasn't wrong. He had a point. Slowly, I made my way towards the door, opening it. Once the door opened, we saw there was no one there. We then followed Mack off of the Quinjet and into the Zephyr. We split up, checking the entire ship, but found no one. As soon as we searched the entire ship, we met up in the hangar of Zephyr.
