However, there was no one else around in the hallway. Roosevelt and the other man both looked at us as though we'd gone insane. Phil immediately gave them a sheepish smile. "I'm sorry. Governor Roosevelt."
"Have a little too much tipple, my friend?" Roosevelt inquired.
Daisy and I exchanged a look. We had to fix this, and quickly. Daisy managed to speak first. "Uh, please forgive us."
"He's just a big fan of yours, Governor Roosevelt." I explained.
At my words, a smile grew on his face. He then turned towards Phil. "A little help, son?"
Phil nodded vigorously. "Yes, sir."
He then helped Roosevelt into his wheelchair. Roosevelt raised his hand towards Phil. "It'll be our little secret, then?"
Phil took his hand, shaking it. "Yes, sir."
Roosevelt gave us a nod before he and the other man left. Once they were gone, Anara, Deke, Alotren, and Mack approached us. Anara looked around the hallway, inspecting the area. "Where are the Chronicoms?"
"We're missing something here." Phil stated.
Phil was right. Something wasn't right, but what was it? At that moment, Jemma contacted us through the comms she gave us. "It's not Roosevelt. The Chronicoms are after someone else named Freddy."
"Freddy?" Deke asked, looking baffled.
Phil, Alotren, Mack, and I exchanged looks of horror. We just met a Freddy in Ernest's speakeasy. It couldn't be a coincidence...the Chronicoms were going after him. With this in mind, we quickly rushed through the hallways in search of Freddy. Daisy and I found the Chronicoms dressed in officer outfits, standing right in front of Freddy. Immediately Daisy shouted out. "Hey!"
Together, Daisy and I pushed the Chronicoms back into the doors, leading to the kitchen. Quickly, we both ran in to see the Chronicoms climbing back on their feet. One of them glared at us. "Quake, the Light Sentinel, I've been looking forward to this."
"Well, sorry this is just another fight for Storm and me." Daisy retorted.
With that Daisy took one two of the Chronicoms, while I fought one of them. The Chronicom charged towards me. I placed a hand around my waist to grab my lightsaber, but I then remembered that I left my weapons on the Zephyr. I let out a sigh. If only I had my lightsaber with me. At that moment, the Chronicom swung his arm, but I dodged him in time. I then spun around, retaliating as I swung my arm, hitting his jaw. He stumbled back, but he quickly recovered, running towards me. As we fought, Phil joined us, helping us out.
The Chronicom I was fighting against, then rushed back towards me. I extended out my hands, reaching out to the Force. Before the Chronicom could reach me, I threw him back against the wall, knocking him out. I panted, my legs feeling slightly wobbly. Phil then gave Daisy a metal bar, hitting the last Chronicom, sending him out of the kitchen and towards the party, where the guests were. We quickly rushed out of the kitchens and into the hallway, where Alotren was. In his arms was a woman, wearing a red dress.
"Let's go!" Phil exclaimed.
With that, we then rushed out of the party. As we ran down the streets, Daisy spoke up. "Where are we going?"
"To Koenig's. He's got a speakeasy." Phil informed her.
I nodded. "Yeah, but he's not like the other Koenig's we know."
"How so?" Daisy inquired.
"Well to put it nicely...he sucks." I clarified.
Once we reached the speakeasy, Phil knocked on the door. However there was no answer, so Phil used all his strength to push the door open. As soon as we entered, Ernest approached us. "Hey, no! No! I warned you once about bleeding on the floor!"
