I smiled at her words. "Thanks for reminding me. I'll be sure to remember mom's words."
"You better." Neda teased. "Now let's go to the control room, I'm sure they'll be happy to hear our good news."
With that, we then made our way to the control room where May, Tarom, and Piper were along with other agents. Once we reached May, Piper, and Tarom, I spoke up. "Leo, Jemma, and Deke got a lead."
"They'll be able to fix the Izel issue in no time." Neda chimed in.
May, Tarom, and Piper couldn't help but stare back and forth between Neda and me, not use to the fact that there are not only two Storms but three with Cinra.
"Yeah, we're still in shock about there being not just another Storm from a different timeline, but another one which was created from the energies of the three monoliths." I commented.
"Oh Storm and I decided it would be better if I went by a different name, so I'm going by the name Neda." Neda informed them.
"Good to know." May replied.
"Well, we've got good news, too." Piper said, changing the subject. "We found Benson in a containment pod in the Yucatan."
"Benson?" Neda repeated, rather baffled.
We then saw the pod on one of the screens. Tarom nodded. "Yeah, apparently, Izel is headed to some ancient temple where she can unlock a doorway to a realm of unspeakable evil."
"So well, I guess it's not all good news..." Piper trailed off.
"But Mack, Gida, and Yo-Yo?" I inquired.
A relieved smile appeared on Tarom's face. "Last Benson saw, they were alive."
"Good, if that's all. I'll return to my room." I retorted before walking off.
"Storm?" Tarom called out.
I turned around to see a guilty look on Tarom's face. "I'm sorry for the way I acted earlier. I was so scared and worried that something may have happened to Gida. My emotions blinded me...but you're right. I have to face the fact that one day Gida won't return."
"It's alright, Tarom. I forgive you, I know everyone wants me to stop and finally accept that Loki, Frigga, Obi, Stass, Piecor, Padmé, Maya, Jinx, and the others are gone, but I can't help but try to do everything in my power to bring them back." I explained. I glanced over at Neda before continuing. "Like someone once told me, I am a Ca'ana, and we never give up. We always find a way."
At that moment, Alotren and Zira approached us. May spoke up. "How did it go?"
"Zira and I were able to talk Cinra down. Cinra was about to control whatever's inside of her." Alotren explained.
"She sounded just like Storm." Zira informed us. "She recognized Uncle Alotren and me."
"Then there's hope." Neda commented.
We all exchanged looks. I noticed Piper and Zira were still hesitant, while the others were confident we'd win this battle.
"This may be new to us but like everything we've dealt in the past, we will beat Izel and her Shrike army." I assured them.
"You'd be a great director." May mentioned. "It's no wonder that Talbot and Phil took you into consideration."
"I'm honored, but Mack's also a great director as well." I pointed out. "He's what this team needs."
"Besides we won't be around forever, May." Tarom added.
May glanced over at me with a raised eyebrow. "You didn't tell him?"
