After informing Daniel of the plan, the both of us approached Enoch, who was climbing down the ladder in the hangar bay. I took a deep breath, calming my nerves. I hope this works...
"Hello!" Daniel greeted.
"Agent Sousa. Storm Odinson." Enoch replied, greeting us.
"Say, uh, I got a question for you...What time is lunch served on this vessel?" Daniel asked.
I mentally groaned. This is his distraction? I did my best not to glare at him as Enoch responded. "I believe we are all free dine at our own convenience."
He began to walk towards the lab, when Daniel and I moved to block him from entering the lab.
"Really? 'Cause, see, often, when you're on, say, a military ship, all of the soldiers eat together. Does wonders for the morale." Daniel mentioned.
"You have been with us long enough now to know that meals are not taken in a group fashion." Enoch replied. "Is there some reason you are creating false pretenses under which you might keep me in this location?"
Daniel let out a nervous chuckle as he looked over at me for help. I quickly rummaged through my mind, trying to think of something to say that wouldn't sound too suspicious.
"All right, the real reason we wanted to talk to you was...to ask you if once this mission is over if you'd like to visit my home galaxy." I explained.
"I would be honored, Storm. Would I be visiting your home planet, Corellia, as well?" Enoch asked.
I was baffled that he knew my home planet. Enoch must've known this, since he added. "You didn't tell me your home planet, your alternate version, Neda, told me this."
"Your alternate version? So Neda wasn't your sister?" Daniel asked, looking quite vexed at me.
I grimaced. This was not the way I imagined he'd find out that Neda wasn't truly my sister. I wanted to tell him, but I wasn't exactly sure how to say it, especially since I lied about Neda to Zeth for her protection. Enoch winced. "Oh dear. It appears you two have much to speak about. I'll give you both some space."
Once Enoch walked into the lab, Daniel turned towards me. "You told me she was your twin sister."
"Daniel, as much as I'd like to continue this conversation, Enoch's going into the lab." I reminded him.
Daniel's eyes widened. "...Oh, right!"
We quickly rushed into the lab, trying to stop Enoch. As we ran into the lab, Daniel glanced over at me. "Don't think this conversation is over."
At that moment, the entire Zephyr shook as the time drive began acting up again. I let out a sigh. "No, this conversation is definitely over..."
~Time Loop #106~
Once Phil, Daisy, and I were back together, Daisy and Phil gave me looks. I wore a sheepish smile. "...Okay, so stealth didn't work at all."
"No worries. Let's try something more direct. Why don't Daisy and I talk to Enoch, while you take the implant out." Phil suggested.
I nodded. "All right. Let's see if that works."
As Phil and Daisy made their way to the hangar bay, where Enoch was. I quickly made my way to the lab, where Zira, Gida, and Jemma were. And as quickly as I could I explained the time loop and needing to take the implant out.
"You wouldn't ask me if there weren't lives at stake, would you?" Jemma questioned.
"You know me, Jemma. If there was another solution, I'd take it." I reminded her.
