After the meeting in the control room, Gida and I walked down the hallways, making our way to one of the labs, where Tarom's body was. I still felt devastated over Tarom's death. My eyes slowly turned blue, which Gida noticed.
"Storm, what's going on? Where's Tarom?" Gida inquired.
"I'm taking you to him." I replied.
Once we reached the lab, Gida and I approached a table with Tarom's body, which was covered with a sheet. As soon as I pulled back the sheet, I watched as Gida wore a horrified look as tears streamed down her eyes. "No! Tarom!"
Upon seeing her devastated face, I felt like crying all over again. Gida threw her arms over Tarom as she continued to cry. My heart clenched as I watched her weep over her husband. It was too painful to watch. I never thought this day would come so soon. After a few minutes, Gida then turned towards me with red puffy eyes. "What happened?"
"Antaeus killed him, he has the same powers as me. He tried killing me, but Tarom intervened." I explained. "I'm so sorry, Gida, I tried to help, but Antaeus was too strong for me to handle on my own."
"It wasn't your fault, Storm. I know Tarom views you as a sister. He wouldn't leave you alone to die. He'd save you, even if it meant sacrificing himself. If anyone is to blame it's Antaeus, he's the one who killed him." Gida mentioned.
Once she was somewhat more calm, I took Gida to her room, where Kina shortly joined us. I understood what Gida was going on through. When Loki had been killed by Thanos, I was destroyed. I didn't think I would ever recover from such pain, but here I am.
"I'm sorry, Gida. No one deserves to go through this, especially you." Kina stated.
"Tarom died a hero, Gida. I know how you feel, but just know that you are not alone." I informed her.
"Thanks guys...I just can't believe Tarom's dead." Gida commented.
"I thought you would've felt Tarom when he perished." Kina pointed out.
"I did feel excruciating pain come from Tarom, but I didn't realize that he was dead. I was too focused on getting the Quinjet back here." Gida confessed.
I placed a hand on Gida's shoulder. "Don't beat yourself. You were just putting the mission first. There was nothing you could've done."
"But if I had stayed, then maybe Tarom might still be alive." Gida mentioned.
"No, don't do this to yourself, Gida " I urged. "You couldn't have known this would happen."
"None of us knew." Kina chimed in.
"But don't worry, I will personally deal with Antaeus." I assured her.
"But you won't be fighting him alone. I'll be with you, Storm." Gida protested. "And we'll take him down together. For Tarom."
I nodded. "For Tarom."

After spending some time comforting Gida, Kina and I left her to give her some space. Kina returned to the control room, while I made my way back to my room. I couldn't believe more of our friends were dying as we tried to save Earth. I couldn't help but walk on with a heavy heart. How many more friends of mine will have to die? But I then remembered Obi-Wan's words. "Be the light, give people a reason to have hope, to believe. That's what this galaxy needs, especially now."
I let out a shaky sigh, I can't dwell on those thoughts. And I cannot give up hope, not now. There are many people that are counting on us, we can't let them down. Before I reached my room, Mack approached me. "Storm, Daisy's leaving on the Quinjet."
