After a few moments, May looked over at Snow, almost as if observing her. It wasn't long until Snow noticed her. "You must like what you see, always staring at me."
"Your boss runs a tight crew. Everyone has a role. But you, I can't figure out." May commented.
"Because I'm so mysterious." Snow suggested.
"I was gonna go with nuts." May corrected. "He even said you're unhinged."
I quickly figured out what she was doing, so I quickly jumped on board. "That probably explains why he didn't want you here when we had our talk earlier."
"I dig the unyielding-warrior vibe, but you've clearly closed yourself off from the universe." Snow said.
"Oh I'm very tuned into the universe. Thank you very much." I retorted.
"You don't even know what you don't know." Snow continued as she hopped down from the table, making her way towards us. "I can help you break free from your chrysalis of negativity."
May rolled her eyes. "Whatever you say, princess butterfly."
"You'll be reborn, and then you'll see-" Snow began.
However May cut Snow off by head-butting her face. She stumbled back into the table.
"I'll take it from here." I assured May.
May nodded. She then rushed over towards where Sarge was, no doubt driving the truck. Before she had a chance to react. I placed my hand on her shoulder. "Sleep."
In a heartbeat, she was knocked out on the ground. After placing cuffs around her arms, I then quickly headed over towards where May ran off to. As soon as I reached her, I saw her fighting against Sarge, who kept one hand on the wheel.
"I thought you were coming around." Sarge commented.
I scoffed. "We'd never join your crusade."
"Oh great, you're here too." Sarge retorted.
Sarge moved the wheel around, swerving the truck, trying to knock us back. I stumbled back, while May held on. Finally, he stopped the truck. Sarge lunged towards her, and May managed to hold him back.
"He was your dream. I'm your nightmare." Sarge taunted.
I then used the Force, knocking him back into the passenger's seat against the window.
"That's enough taunting! You leave Coulson out of this!" I snapped.
"Sounds like someone's getting feisty." Sarge commented.
May used her fists, pushing him back as Sarge continued to mock and taunt her. "I thought you loved this face."
Finally May slammed his face against the wheel, knocking him out. She took over the wheel, while I placed cuffs on him. She let out a sigh before looking over at him. Poor May.
"Are you alright? I know this must be difficult." I mentioned.
May nodded. "You got that right."
"If you want to talk about it, just know I'm here." I offered.
May smiled at my words. "Thank you, Storm. Why don't you contact the Lighthouse?"
I nodded. "On it."
I then left, giving May some space. I fortunately always keep a spare comlink in my boot, just in case something like this ever happened. I learned the hard way based on past experiences. As soon as I turned my comlink, I contacted Alotren. "Alotren, this is Storm. Do you copy?"
