After reuniting with the rest of the team in the Lighthouse, we all said our final goodbyes before going our separate ways. The Chronicoms that were left behind in the Lighthouse stopped fighting us and were once again our friends. Because they didn't have a home anymore, Kina, Gida, Alotren, and Ahsoka took the Chronicoms back to our home galaxy by using my ship. Meanwhile, I took Daniel to the Avengers facility, so he could meet Nat, Steve, Allie, Maro, and the others living in the facility. Currently, we stood in front of the giant facility along with Anara, Rex, and Zira.
"So you live here?" Daniel asked.
"Currently yes, I am." I replied. "You ready to go in and meet the Avengers?"
Daniel looked a hesitant look. "What if they don't like me?"
I was baffled by his words. "Are you kidding me? You're amazing, they're going to love you."
Zira nodded. "Yeah, Daniel, there's nothing to be afraid of. You'll discover you have more in common with them than you think."
I slipped my hand in Daniel's hand, giving it a squeeze to encourage him. Daniel gave me a smile, making my heart flutter. We then walked inside. As soon as we reached one of the living rooms, I saw Steve, Nat, Maro, and Allie. Daniel was taken back upon seeing Allie. I furrowed my brows. What happened to everyone else?
"Where's Bruce?" I inquired.
"He left the facility." Nat informed me. "He mentioned he wanted to spend some time alone."
"And everyone else?" Zira asked.
"They've moved on with their lives." Steve explained.
"Who's this?" Allie questioned.
Daniel's eyes widened. "Did that giant wolf just speak?"
"Yeah, that's Allie. She startled me the first time she spoke." I commented, before returning to the matter at hand. "Steve, Nat, Maro, Allie, this is Daniel Sousa. He's an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Daniel, these are my friends, Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff, Maro Papanoida, and Allie."
For now I thought about leaving out the part that Daniel was from the past. There'll be a time to explain everything, but right now I just wanted to introduce him to my friends without having to clarify all that happened in the latest mission with S.H.I.E.L.D.
"It's nice to meet all of you." Daniel mentioned.
"Agent Sousa here is dating Master Odinson." Anara teased.
Allie, Maro, Nat, and Steve were all stupefied. I bet they hadn't thought I'd ever move on from Loki, and to be honest, neither did I. At once, Steve looked over at me. "Are you happy with him?"
"Very much, Steve. I didn't think that I'd ever find love ever again." I confessed.
"Then I'm glad you're happy again, Storm." Steve commented.
"But you better not hurt Storm or that will be the last thing you'll do." Nat warned.
"Don't worry, I won't hurt Storm. I love her too much." Daniel assured them. "Storm's family from S.H.I.E.L.D. gave me the same threatening speech."
I grimaced. I can't believe Mack and the others threatened Daniel about hurting me. I'm glad that didn't scare Daniel away.
"Speaking of family, where's Tarom?" Allie questioned.
My face fell at once. Daniel squeezed my hand, letting me know he was there for me. I gave him a gratified smile before looking at Steve and the others. I knew they would ask this question, but I wasn't entirely prepared on how to answer it.
