"But Master Ha, we would've let the Chronicoms will. That's exactly what they wanted." Anara protested.
"Don't worry. We'll figure something out, like we always do." I assured them."It's easier to let a bad man alive than to let a good man die." Mack mentioned.
"That's catchy, and I wish I'd said it, but Agent Sousa's sacrifice was an inspiration to others in S.H.I.E.L.D." Phil informed us.
"Like yours was for the Avengers." Gida stated.
"Well, let's not oversell it." Phil commented.
"No, it's a fact." Mack confirmed.
"She's right, Coulson. After you died, the team finally came together as one." Kina pointed out.
"And it's also a fact you got a chance to fight another day." Mack added.
"I did, but if Sousa lives, we don't know what impact that will have on history." Phil mentioned.
At that moment, we received a call from Deke, and we were relieved to hear him. At once, I spoke up. "Deke, where are you?"
"I'm in L.A." Deke informed us.
"Are you safe?" Ahsoka asked.
"Yes, but you are never gonna guess who I just saw." Deke began.
"Wilfred Malick." Kina responded.
"Okay, or you will guess correctly..." Deke trailed off.
"Deke, sit tight for a little while." Mack advised. He then looked over at us. "I'm changing the mission. We're gonna save Sousa."
I furrowed my brows. "But how?"
"Like you said, we'll figure it out, like we always do." Mack stated.
I nodded. "Sounds like a plan. Let's go make some waves."
As Phil, Alotren, and Mack went down to the hangar to talk with Daisy and Neda, I went to the lab in one of the spare rooms where May was sitting in a chair with Jemma, Zira, Teckla, and Harrua standing around her. As I walked in, Jemma was checking May's vitals.
"How are you feeling, May?" I asked.
"Better." May replied.
"I'm not seeing anything unusual in your vitals." Jemma commented.
"Do you have any idea why you may have seem do disoriented?" Zira asked.
May sighed. "I don't know. It just happened."
"Like what happened at the base."
We all turned around to see Elena standing at the door. Teckla raised an eyebrow. "What happened at the base?"
"Can't hurt to talk about it, May." Elena urged as she walked into the room.
"Be my guest." May offered.
"May had a panic attack." Elena informed us.
I was baffled. May's never had a panic attack. It's unlike her to have that...Harrua let out a growl, also surprised that May had a panic attack. Jemma glanced over at May, looking perplexed. "Why wasn't I told?"
"Because that's not me." May stated.
"All the more reason, and I agree. For you, that is severely abnormal." Jemma mentioned.
"You've always held tight your emotions." I chimed in.
"To a fault, some may say." Elena pointed out.
