"Master, it's all right. Save May and taken them down." Anara advised. "Don't worry about me. I'll be fine."

"Absolutely not. That's not an option." I shot back. "I refuse to lose you too, Anara."

"But Master, think of the mission-" Anara began.

However, I cut her off. "To the blazes with the mission! I can't lose you Anara, I've lost too many people close to me. And I've promised your mother, Katooni that I'd always watch over you and to keep you safe."

Tears filled Anara's eyes as I continued. "She made that her dying wish...should anything happen to her or your father, then I'd keep you safe."

"As touching as this is, we need to get moving. So make a decision before Snow does." Sarge advised me.

I glanced over at Anara to see her trying to put a brave face. However, I could see through her facade. She was terrified.

"It's alright, Anara. I won't let any harm come to you." I assured her.

I turned around, looking over at Sarge as I took my belt with all my weapons off, and tossed it aside. I then raised my hands, surrendering. Snow pushed Anara aside with a frustrated look. "Beat it, kid."

At that moment, Sarge approached me. "Just in case you get any ideas."

Before I could ask what he meant, I felt a huge thump on the back of my head. I immediately fell back onto the ground where I was surrounded by darkness.

Once I woke up, I found myself back in the lair of Sarge and his crew, which was a moving truck. My hands were strapped down to a chair along with my feet. I glanced over to see May beside me, sitting on a chair. Her hands were bound together. She didn't look to be in her five senses, and her question definitely confirmed my observation.

"Why am I dizzy?" May asked.

At that moment, I heard Sarge's voice. "Because you have violent tendencies. A little concoction in the water you drank. But nap time's over."

I looked over to see Sarge standing near us with what appeared to be a comlink or as the natives here on Earth would call a walkie talkie. After he put the comlink away, he glanced over at me. "I tried to go the same with your friend here, but it didn't seem to do much."

I snorted. "I am a Corellian. We can hold our liquor. You're going to need something strong like Port In a Storm."

It wasn't long until the truck stopped. While Sarge was on what appeared to be his datapad, Snow approached Sarge. As she walked past us, she pet our heads. "Aww."

May and I narrowed our eyes at Snow as she past us. She's definitely getting on my nerves. Once she reached Sarge, he handed her a bag and the datapad he was on. "We're pretty isolated out here. Shouldn't be any interference. It's a bag and gag. Keep it simple. Check in when you're done."

Snow glanced over at us with a taunting look. "So serious for such pretty faces."

"Snow." Sarge said before placing a hand over her shoulder. "Pax and Jaco are gone. You're all I've got. I need to know you can handle this."

So Pax and Jaco are the two guys in his crew. Snow nodded. "Yes, Sarge. I've got it."

She then looked over at us, wearing a grin. "Unless you'd rather go I'd be happy to keep our guests company. They have so much potential."

"You know you're gonna do great." Sarge said, placing a hand over her wrist to stop her from reaching us.

Snow groaned. "Fine. Later, then."
