From Rags To Riches: Chapter Two

The following morning Jessie allowed for Anna to sleep in for a bit, before she woke her up in time for breakfast-- the day was shining and although most people were overjoyed with their day's, Jessie took notice into Anna appearing uncertain, with her eyes hung low-- she was sitting at the table with a plate that had hashbrowns, egg's and a couple of strips of beacon plying with the food using her fork, Jessie tilted her head and appeared concerned.

"...You okay?" She asked as Anna looked over.

"What?..oh yeah, fine.." Anna said as she shook her head.

"Really?..because every time someone plays with their food, generally it's because they are upset about something," Jessie said, as Anna looked towards her plate; before she shook her head, as she began to eat the food, adding.

"Sorry, I just got a lot on my mind."

"..Are you going to be okay here alone while I go to work?... or do you want me to take a sick day?" Jessie asked as Anna shook her head.

"No come on, please..I'll be fine... " Anna said with a nod, as she continued on with.

"....But if you don't mind me asking..what is it you work as again?"

"..You don't remember?...I'm a screenwriter for a television series called Claire's fantastic adventures.." Jessie explained as Anna perked her head upon hearing Jessie say "screenwriter" before she lowered it once more.

"...Oh.." She muttered.

"..I'd..uh..I'd recommend you to work there, but they aren't really looking for people right now.." Jessie said as Anna shook her head.

"No, it's okay..really," Anna said with a nod, as Jessie began to finish off her breakfast; before she shook her head.

"..Okay, well..uh there are some chores that need to be done..if you don't mind while I'm gone?" She asked, standing up from the table; as she began to head towards the bathroom to get herself ready for work, while Anna shook her head.

"Sure...sure..okay," Anna said, as Jessie soon came out of the bathroom with her hair brushed neatly, as she pulled it back into a ponytail; before she began to head for one of the door's opening it revealing a closest full of shoe's, as she began to look around she grabbed a pair of high heeled red shoe's putting them on, she began to look around.

"Where are my earrings?" She questioned looking around, as Anna began to look around as well taking notice into a pair of earrings on the table nearby her; she perked her head and grabbed the pair showing them to Jessie.
