From Rags To Riches: Chapter Thirty-Six

Before revealing more to Jessie, Ralph and Destiny; the visualization soon showed that of Anna who had a suitcase on her bed in the hotel room packing up her thing's; as she began to overhear some knocking on her door; causing her to look over with a bit of a growl she shook her head.

"It's open." She stated as Matthew came into view slowly peaking his head into the room and entering into it; before he soon spoke out.

"..Suitcase?"

"..I'm leaving.." Anna stated shaking her head, working on stuffing her clothing she had taken with her on the trip; while Matthew appeared saddened and shook his head, as he spoke out.

"Anna, come on; you were the one that wants total honesty right?.. yes I had the affair, but I ALWAYS am regretting it even to this day! it's just .."

"JUST what?... YOU CHEATED on your wife when you had a little BOY at home! how could you do something like that?" Anna asked angrily, as Matthew lowered his head a bit.

"..I ...I don't know, Anna ..I guess I was just feeling a little ..empty in my marriage to Janet ... and stupid ..and-"

"YOU know who you sound just LIKE?..my EX husband!" Anna declared angrily, as she walked by him pushing by him; to grab some of her things out from a dresser, as she continued to pack her suitcase; shaking her head.

"I shouldn't have tried to get back into your life, I should have just realized EVERY SINGLE time I get involved with you I just end up getting hurt!"

"Anna that's not true!" Matthew stated.

"It is! every time, URG... it's just stupid!" Anna said shaking her head angrily, as she soon added.

"YOU had a loving family, a WIFE WHO loved you and a KID WHO LOOKED UP to you!... I mean at least I can forgive my ex for what he did because there weren't any kids involved, but YOU HAD A KID." And with this, she closed up her suitcase, as Matthew appearing saddened and shook his head.

"I know..Anna, I'm sorry.." Matthew said shaking his head, as Anna began to leave the area; with Matthew soon speaking out.

"So, what..is that just ..it?" And with this Anna seemed to ignore him.

"You're just going to live like you DIDN'T HAVE a family?" He asked as Anna stopped in her tracks raising her shoulders a bit.
