From Rags To Riches: Chapter Fifty-Two

A few days had past, Ralph and Anna had made the most out of the time with Destiny that they had; going to see movies, helping out with school as much as they could; and going to different places Destiny wanted to go, but as fun as they were having; time seemed to fly, and the next thing they both knew it was time to bring Destiny back to Jessie's.

It seemed as if Ralph was rather silent as they brought her back to Jessie's and said goodbye, with Destiny giving Ralph a hug and Anna a hug before heading back into Jessie's home, as Jessie questioned them about their days with her- before giving each of them a hug and offering for them to come in, but Anna and Ralph denied this and decided to head back home.

Soon enough Ralph came into view driving his car, with Anna seen in the passenger side of the seat; both of them dressed in wintery clothing- as there was a long silence between the two of them, with nothing but the passing cars being heard.

"So uh...are you feeling okay about everything?" Anna asked, as Ralph perked up his head and looked over.

"....I know that Destiny is Jessie's too, it just ...kinda breaks my heart a little when I have to drop her off you know?..so long we didn't have her, and now ...I don't get to have her every second of the day, I have to give her off to Jessie and not .." Ralph didn't finish, as Anna appeared saddened.

"I get that... but think of how Jessie is feeling when she has to do the same thing." Anna said as Ralph shook his head.

"..........Yeah, well....that's a part of being divorced you know?..it's not like we can live with each other." Ralph muttered, as Anna chuckled a bit and shook her head.

"Let's try to focus on happier thing's okay?" She remarked as Ralph shook his head.

"Sure, we both have a couple of days off from work- so what do you think we should do?" Ralph asked as Anna shook her head.

"...I'm not sure, maybe just laze around the house?" She suggested jokingly starting to laugh, as Ralph shook his head.

"No, no that's a good idea- we've been working too hard, maybe it's time we just laze around the house!" Ralph said with a bit of a chuckle, as Anna shook her head; and with this Ralph soon added.
