From Rags To Riches: Chapter Sixty

Soon enough the visualization showed that of a coffee shop with Ralph seen sitting down tapping his foot with some nervousness as he was looking around for any sight of his sister, knowing that they agreed to meet at the coffee place- he shook his head, as he began to wonder if Rose was coming?

He began to reflect back onto some of the times they had spent together during their childhood, and how they were pretty close despite being a typical brother-sister were they would fight and disagree with quite a few thing's; when it really counted, when they really needed each other that's when the opposite would step up and help out. But thing's changed when Ralph was arrested and disowned by his mother and father, after that he hadn't heard anything from his sister- and from what he remembered he was about nineteen around the time of his arrest which would make his sister seventeen

He wondered if his sister had thought about him over the years? despite the fact that she had mentioned she did, he wondered if she was simply just trying to be nice, and she really didn't care about him and just adapted to him not being around? what about his father, his mother what did they think about him over the years? but before he could dwell too much on that, he soon overheard a voice speak out.

"Yoo-hoo! Ralph, hey it's me!" And with this Ralph perked up his head as he looked over towards the left (hearing the voice come from there) as Rose came into view approaching him from the distance, dressed in wintery looking gear; she shook her head, as she began to approach sitting down across from him, soon adding.

"Sorry I'm late, traffic was brutal!"

"It's okay...so uh...hey," Ralph said waving to her, as she giggled and shook her head.

"I get that this is awkward, but I think I already said hey," Rose explained shaking her head, before soon adding.

"Anyways.... so let's just ...let's just start from the beginning, what happened to you?.."

"What do you mean?" Ralph asked.

"...The whole ..jail situation...I was never really told the whole story by mom and dad, neither of them wanted to go into details over the years....so I'm giving you a chance to talk...tell me, the whole story..what happened?" She asked, with Ralph appearing quiet a moment as he shook his head before soon speaking out.

"...Well you, mom and dad knew I was dating this girl Melanie right?..... she ended up stealing thousands of dollar's from the company she was working at, and the police had deducted that she was working together with someone ...seeing as we were dating, the police put two and two together and believed it was me .... so they arrested me, and I was denied bail for thirty day's until my trial date.."

"......You must have been so scared being in prison.." Rose said shaking her head, as she added.
