From Rags To Riches: Chapter Fourteen

Soon enough the visualization showed that of the door opening up, leading into the living room- with Lauren soon coming into view entering into the area, as she tossed her purse off to the side- seeing Anna and Destiny watching a movie together on the couch, as the two of them looked over.

"Hey! Lauren your back from your trip, how was it?" She asked as Lauren shook her head.

"It was okay." She stated fixing her hair a bit.

At the time being Lauren's hair was pulled back into a ponytail- with a black blazer on over a red shirt and dark blue jean's along with brown shoe's- she soon began to approach Destiny, as she spoke out.

"How was my little girl for you?" And with this, she sat down beside Destiny helping to stroke her hair a bit- as she gave her a kiss on the forehead before Anna shook her head with a smile; she said.

"She was just a little angel..very nice, and very respectful."

"..Good, I'm glad..did you and Anna have fun Destiny?" Lauren asked looking over at Destiny, as she shook her head.

"Uh huh! we had lots of fun! we played games, she helped me with my homework! and we watched movies, and did lots of other fun stuff too." Destiny explained as Anna shook her head with a bit of a chuckle; as she began to grab her purse (which was hanging on a doorknob nearby the front door)

"..Well thanks for this Anna," Lauren said, as Anna shook her head.

"You're welcome but I REALLY need to get going, so I'll see you two later," Anna said with a nod, as she began to wave to them; before Destiny shook her head and said.

"Okay say hi to my first mom for me okay?" And with this, her eyes widened, as she quickly covered her mouth with her hands knowing she shouldn't have blurted that out, as Lauren looked over at her then looked over at Anna.

"....F-First mom?.." Lauren asked as Anna appeared shocked; her heart starting to pound, and her nerves starting to grow; she began to look around trying to figure out how she was going to cover up what Destiny had just blurted out with some kind of lie, but nothing was coming to her.

"......How do you know about Destiny's adoption?" Lauren asked, as she stood up and began to approach Anna, with Anna appearing in a state of shock not knowing what to say- she began to hesitate to spit out words.

"U-Uh, I...I uh.." She muttered.
