From Rags To Riches: Chapter Forty-Nine

The next morning Anna and Ralph had gotten up and eaten some breakfast, for the day Ralph was supposed to have Destiny and for the next few day's after that, but before they went to pick up Destiny; Ralph and Anna had an interview with Melanie regarding the book Anna was working on, and Anna was rather worried about Ralph seeing her again, and wondering how Melanie would take seeing her again after she blew up at Melanie?

Soon enough the visualization showed that of Anna who was seen driving Ralph's car, with Ralph seen in the passenger side of the car staring out of the window as many things were passing him by, buildings, people, tree's, grass etc; but this didn't seem to concern Anna as much as Ralph's quietness, causing her to appear concerned; all the while Ralph soon closed his eyes, as the visualization flashed to another memory of his.

Soon enough the visualization showed that of Ralph much younger, as his hair appeared frizzled like he hadn't brushed it in a while but this didn't seem to concern him; as he was seen peaking over a grocery aisle looking around as if looking for someone, before soon enough a familiar female to him came into view shopping for grocery's.

The woman Ralph knew was his mother, she appeared to be in her mid-forties or so; with white skin and long dirty brown-ish colored hair; that was curly, at the time she was seen wearing a pink-ish colored jacket that was unzipped revealing a blue t-shirt underneath it and dark blue jeans along with white shoes, and a brown purse over her shoulder, as she was seen looking at a can of some food.

Ralph shook his head and recalled he had been homeless for a couple of weeks, he had desperately attempted to get his parent's to take him back staying at their house for a couple of days, before disappearing and attempting to run into his mother and or father while they were out shopping for something, and while he managed to catch his father on a day that he was shopping, his father completely disowned him and left him alone; but he had hoped his mother would be different and would at least LISTEN to him.

(Okay Ralph, it's now or never.) Ralph thought to himself, as he shook his head; and began to head out to talk with his mother, as she turned around and began to push her grocery cart away from the area; all the while Ralph was about to speak out, saying.

"M-" But before he could finish, the next thing he knew a police officer had come into view standing in front of him; as the police officer halted him in his track's before he said.

"Whoa there guy, I've been shopping in this store for the last twenty minutes, and all you've been doing is stalking that poor woman..now I know your hurting, but you don't need to resort to taking something of hers."

"T-Taking something? I wasn't going to-"

"I'm going to have to ask you kindly to leave the store, okay?" The officer said as he motioned for Ralph to start to leave the area; with Ralph going with it a bit, as he shook his head and looked back seeing his mother turn around the corner; he soon added.
