From Rags To Riches: Chapter Four

Soon enough the visualization of Anna soon came into view sitting on a chair across from an unfamiliar figure who appeared to be male, about twenty to thirty years of age; he had white skin and frizzy looking brown-ish colored hair, while he was wearing a black tuxedo top that was unbuttoned revealing a white t-shirt underneath it and blue-ish colored jean's with white sneaker's, he appeared to behind a desk that said his name on it.

"Ralph Burnsteen." All around the area appeared to be some kind of shoe selling place, with various row's of shoes all around ranging from kid's, to woman's to men's, boots, to sneaker's, to smart shoe's it seemed like THEE place to be for any sort of shoe- while there was gold trimming around the shelf's that were holding the shoe's, the wallpaper around the store was colored with a deep red-ish color, and the floor appeared to be carpet; but at the time nobody was in the store, as Ralph had closed it for Anna's interview.

"So Anna...Jess tells me you use to be a writer." The man said, as he put his hands together and leaned in a bit closer; while Anna shook her head silently, she appeared distracted; but shook her head and knew she had to try to get the job.

"Huh?..oh..yeah." She said, with a nod.

"Anything I may have seen?" the man asked, as Anna shook her head.

"I don't know...do you read and or watch action superhero type of movies or books?" Anna asked as the man shook his head "no" while Anna soon added.

"Well that was generally what I wrote about...but is that really necessary Ralph?" Finally revealing the man's name to indeed be Ralph, as the man shook his head.

"Not really...I was just trying to make some form of small talk. Jess said you'd be kinda quiet.." Ralph said as he continued on with.

"Anyway....seeing as all you have to do... is convince people to buy some shoes...and you are a close friend of Jess's! I shall give you this job!!"

"...Really?..but we didn't even really talk that much." Anna said as Ralph shook his head.

"I know, I know..but in reality selling shoe's isn't that hard....if you know how to interact with people then you know how to sell shoes," Ralph said, as he continued on with.

"..You'll be working alongside some of the other employee's in this shop, but don't worry they are all pretty nice."

"They are?" Anna asked.

"I've hired people I know well..my friend's..some members of my family...you know things like that...I know the employee's here, and they are very nice..trust me." Ralph said as Anna shook her head.
