From Rags To Riches: Chapter Twenty-Five

Before revealing more to Matthew and Jessie, the visualization soon showed that of Anna as she entered into what appeared to be a coffee shop looking around before catching a glimpse of Angie nearby who waved to her as though telling her that's where she was, with Anna starting to approach and sitting across from her seeing Angie had a cup of coffee and seemed somewhat tired, Anna seemed to examine her.

"Rough night huh?" She asked as Angie shook her head.

"It's just the stresses of everything, but it's okay, I'm okay!..let's just focus on today okay?" Angie asked as Anna shook her head.

"Sure, okay." She stated before she soon added.

"So you've been working at Ralph's shoe place for awhile right?" And with this, Angie shook her head taking a sip of her coffee, she soon added.

"Yeah awhile, I don't know exactly HOW long but awhile." And with this Anna soon added.

"Okay, well that's good...it's good to have a steady job."

"Is something wrong Anna? you seem kind of ... stressed." Angie said noticing Anna appeared somewhat nervous, as she shook her head.

"Okay, look I've done the whole getting to know someone thing before revealing the whole reason why I did it; so this time I'm just going to come out and say it." She said as Angie tilted her head.

"What's the problem?" Angie asked as Anna was about to respond before Angie's phone began to ring causing Angie to motion for Anna to give her a moment, as she reached into her purse and began to shuffle throughout her purse pulling out a cellphone and flipping it open, she spoke out.

"Yeah?.. huh?.."

"I can't right now!...I'm visiting a friend of mine!"

"......" Anna was silent as she appeared to be sort of listening into the conversation wondering who Angie was getting a call from, as Angie soon shook her head.

"Can't we do it another time?...urg, fine...fine, I'll come; I'll be there in a little!" And with this Angie hung up the phone putting it away, as she stood up and shook her head.

"I'm so sorry, I really am!..but I ne-need to go; we'll ..uh, we'll do this another time okay?" And with this Anna rose a brow with some curiosity, as she shook her head and stood up.
