From Rags To Riches: Chapter Eleven

Soon enough the visualization showed that of Jessie's home, as the sound of key's jingling could be heard- before Anna came into view starting to enter into the home with a pair of key's, she put her purse off to the side as she soon heard Jessie's voice speak out.

"Oh look who's home." And with this Anna flinched, as she looked ahead and could see Jessie sitting down on a couch petting her dog that was sleeping in her lap- before she soon spoke out.

"Did you have fun with Shelly?"

"Oh yeah, I did..." Anna said with a nod, as Jessie gave her a bit of a look; before she soon spoke out.

"Why do you keep lying to me?"

"What do you mean?" Anna asked, coming up a bit closer; as Jessie shook her head, and soon added.

"I SAW your car parked in your husband's parking lot!... why where you there!?"

"MY rented car?!...PFFFT..that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard! why would I be with my EX- husband?!" Anna yelled as Jessie shook her head.

"Then how do you explain YOUR car being there!?" Jessie asked, as Anna shook her head and soon added.

"Yeah it's true I rented a car recently because I can't afford to keep one and all- but let me ask you this, how do you know it was MY CAR?...I mean, it could have belonged to anyone! I got a WHITE car...what's so distinctive about it?"

"The sticker you put on the back windshield...remember? you got it as a gift from Ralph to celebrate your first payday, and you said you didn't know what you were going to do with it- then the time came and you got the car, and you decided to put it on the back windshield.." Jessie explained.

"A ...A sticker?!...that's what you're basing this on?... A STICKER?.....that sticker said "ralph's shoe source" it could have come from ANYONE I mean, it's not like it was only ONE sticker made ya know?" Anna remarked, as Jessie crossed her arms and gave Anna a bit of a look- before she stood up, causing her dog to jump off of her lap and leave the area, with Jessie coming up closer; she said.

"Ralph and I designed that sticker together..he decided he'd have it only for people that WORK for him...only people who work for him get to have one."

"So you're telling me, none of the employees gave the stickers to any of their friends or family? the sticker may only be given to employee's but that doesn't mean it belongs to me, maybe one of the others gave it to a friend of their's who somehow knew Johnathan- this could go a million different ways Jess, I just know what's the truth and the truth is I didn't go there! I wouldn't even HAVE a reason to go there anymore." Anna said as Jessie perked her head.
