From Rags To Riches: Chapter Six

The visualization soon showed that of the shoe shop the following morning, where Anna came into view fixing a few shoes in a display case- not saying much of anything, she knew the shoes she was placing were special very expensive shoe's meant to draw costumer's eyes.

Various other workers in the shoe shop were busy doing their own thing's, while Anna took notice into Ralph sorting out some paperwork it seemed at his desk in the shop, causing her to tilt her head; before she shook her head and continued to do work.

Her mind was drifting onto other thing's, her ex-husband and what he was doing if Jessie was ever going to tell her the story of the "young girl" that she saw Jessie was holding in a photo, and what was her life going to be like in a couple of months? would she still be working at the shoe shop, or would she do something else? what would happen between her and Jessie? why would Jessie lie to her about meeting Ralph, and so on?

Soon enough Anna shook her head and with this she fixed the shoe's finally in the right place, as she began to approach Ralph, causing Ralph to look over at her; before Anna practically slammed her hands down onto the desk, as she spoke out.

"Can we speak somewhere..more privately?" And with this Ralph gave her a bit of a look, as he soon spoke out.

"Anna, what's up with you?..you seem kinda.."

"...I just ...something's been on my mind, and I need to talk to you..but I think it's more of a private matter." Anna said, as she looked around at some of the other employee's, while Ralph shook his head as he stood up and motioned for her to follow after him, the two of them heading towards the back of the store (which was a doorway behind Ralph's desk) as they entered into more of a storage looking room filled with various different types of shoes, boots, and so on.

"..Alright, go on..and tell me what's wrong?" Ralph asked raising a brow, as Anna shook her head and crossed her arms as she sighed deeply.

"I think it was the first day I came to live with Jessie, I ran across something..something that's been bothering me, and Jessie never told me about it..but then she's lying to me about various stuff, and it's just been driving me crazy," Anna said shaking her head, as Ralph shook his.

"What IS it, Anna?" He asked.

"Okay, here goes..uh." Anna hesitated as she was struggling to find the right words to express what she wanted to say, starting to pace back and forth; she soon added.

"I've been waiting to see if Jess will tell me the truth, but she hasn't so far..so then I was like-"
