From Rags To Riches: Chapter Twenty-Six

Soon enough the visualization showed that of Matthew as he was seen in what appeared to be a hotel room, with a suitcase laying across his bed as he was packing up some of his belongings, before he soon heard the sound of his door knocking causing him to tilt his head with a bit of confusion, as he shook his head.

"I don't want any housekeeping today, okay?"

"Matthew it's me.." Anna's voice was heard, as Matthew appeared shocked but shook his head closing up his suitcase; as he then quickly began to approach the door leading into his room, before opening it up revealing Anna who appeared somewhat uneasy and concerned.

"Anna, hi....what are you doing here?" Matthew asked offering for her to come inside with her doing so, as he soon closed his door and added.

"Wait, you know..how did you get what hotel I was staying at?"

"Jessie told me..look Matthew I think we need to talk," Anna said.

"What's wrong sis?" He asked as Anna appeared to be hesitating not knowing what to say.

"...Okay, so uh...Jessie said you stopped by earlier?" Anna asked as Matthew shook his head.

"I was planning on visiting you, but Jessie said you were out ..so ... we just got to talking." Matthew said.

"If you remember when you called I said I was busy," Anna said crossing her arms with a bit of a glare, as Matthew shook his head and rolled his eyes almost it seemed; before he soon added.

"Yeah, I know that Anna, but you're not exactly giving off the hang out with me vibe ..so I was thinking you were lying." And with this Anna curled her lip a bit in anger, as she shook her head.

"Look me and you may not always see eye to eye, but I'M NO liar," Anna said, as she soon added.

"BUT nonetheless, Jessie told me something and I thought I'd ask you."

"Sure, I guess," Matthew said.

"Alright, look ..Jessie said you got a weird phone call that made you entirely change your attitude, and when she tried to talk to you about it you said it was private and left in a hurry, not to mention I've noticed your suitcase...so I take it you're leaving?" Anna asked as she looked over towards the suitcase before looking back at Matthew.

"What's up with that?" She asked as Matthew lowered his eyes a bit before he shook his head and began to approach his suitcase opening it up to check to make sure he had packed everything; before Anna gave him a bit of a confused look as she shook her head.
