From Rags To Riches: Chapter Fifty-One

"So I take it your still not wanting to meet Melanie huh?" Anna's voice was heard, as the visualization soon showed that of Jessie's living room with Anna coming into view approaching the couch revealing Jessie who was seen sitting down on the couch giving Anna a bit of a look, as Anna handed her a cup of tea it seemed; before she sat down beside Jessie.

"Look I get you don't want to see her because of everything she did to Ralph; but I mean if Ralph is capable of seeing her and you're not, it tells me there is something you know ..."

"...." Jessie was silent, as she shook her head and lowered it a bit.

"So there IS something your not telling me about Ralph's prison stay?" Anna asked, as Jessie sighed deeply and shook her head.

"I know you Anna your not going to stop until I tell you or Ralph does, and since I don't want Ralph to relive those moments in his life ..I'll tell you." Jessie said as Anna shook her head; before Jessie soon added.

".....So yeah I told you Ralph nearly got killed quite a few times by his cellmate, that he spent thirty days in jail and that he was basically very hurt, became abandoned by his family and so on..but what I didn't tell you was..."

"..Was what?" Anna asked.

"The drug's.." Jessie stated, shaking her head before soon adding.

"Being in prison for as long as he was, Ralph got addicted to taking some form of a drug to try and take the edge off of being there... and ended up getting addicted to it ..." And with this Anna appeared saddened, as she shook her head.

"He...He was addicted to taking some kind of a drug?" She asked as Jessie shook her head.

"You can't imagine what happens to people who spend some time in prison..." Jessie muttered lowering her eyes, as she shook her head.

"Even though it was only for thirty days, you know ..it still does a lot to people ..and the drug he took, while it helped him to escape reality and where he was...it also gave him a lot of rage.."

"....." Anna was silent not knowing what to say, as Jessie sighed and shook her head almost appearing to fight back tears; she soon added.

"He ended up killing his cellmate out of a fit of rage, and when he came too. ...he was.."

".....In shock right?" Anna asked as Jessie shook her head.
