From Rags To Riches: Chapter Twenty-Four

The visualization soon showed that of Anna and Jessie seen sitting down eating breakfast together at the start of a new day, Anna hadn't spoken to her brother since their first meeting and Jessie was getting a little concerned; but at the same time she was worrying her head off about the upcoming visit with Destiny and Lauren which was literately in two days.Anna was the first one to finish her breakfast, as she grabbed her plate and began to head towards the sink; before she soon added.

"Oh, by the way, I'm going to be heading out today Jess."

"Heading out? ..where?" Jessie asked with curiosity finishing the rest of her breakfast, as she grabbed the plate and began to head towards the sink as well; Anna washing her plate, she soon added.

"I made this friend at Ralph's shoe place, her name is Angie...Ralph's thinking about firing her." And with this Jessie gave her a bit of a look, before Anna soon added.

"I promised Ralph I'd talk to her, try to get her to do her job better..turns out she's a pretty nice person." And with this Jessie shook her head, and soon added.

"Aw, okay; I was kinda hoping we'd do something together." 

"Sorry...I know it's both our day's off and what not." Anna remarked with a smile, as she shook her head.

"Anyway, I'm going to go see you." And with this, she began to leave the area as Jessie shook her head waving goodbye to her with Anna taking her purse and leaving the area; leaving Jessie alone for a few moments, as Jessie sighed and shook her head approaching the couch and sitting down on it with a sigh, putting her hand over her eyes; she began to dwell on the upcoming visit, hoping and praying that things would be okay.

Jessie didn't know how long it had been, but soon enough she heard a ringing at the door- causing her to perk her head up, as she looked over towards the front door wondering who it could be; looking around as though trying to reflect back if she was expecting anyone, as she shook her head; and stood up, quickly approaching the door and unlocking it as she opened it up; revealing Matthew.

Due to the snow outside, Matthew was wearing a long heavy looking green coat; along with a red scarf, and black pant's with big brown boots- he appeared to be wearing earmuffs on his ears as well, along with a pair of red gloves- but this didn't concern Jessie as much as seeing him, wondering why he was there when Anna wasn't.

"Mat-Matthew!....Anna's not here..you just missed her." Jessie said as Matthew shook his head with a bit of a sigh.

"Oh..okay," Matthew replied, as he shook his head.

"I'll just ..go then." He stated, as he turned around and began to leave the area- with Jessie shaking her head, as she soon spoke out.
