From Rags To Riches: Chapter Forty-Four

Soon enough the visualization showed that of a large building, with the visualization soon zooming down into it and revealing an unfamiliar woman who was seen typing something on a computer while she had a phone to her ear; as she shook her head.

"Yeah, yeah I get it; I'll give them the message, now see you later bud!" She yelled hanging up the phone as she growled, and stopped typing leaning back on her office chair and sighing; as she looked around, seeing that the office around her was pretty large; with a large window overlooking some of the city (quite a lot like the one Anna use to work in) with a square looking room, fancy looking decoration's and so on, just the right look for a fancy office building it seemed.

"Miss Melanie?" A voice called out over a small intercom right beside the woman who was sitting on the desk, as she looked over at the intercom and shook her head; pressing the button to answer it, she said.

"Yes?"

"Someone is here to see you ...they say their name is Ralph Summers?" And with this, the woman (revealed to be Melanie) appeared shocked, as she shook her head.

"Uh, sure..let him in." She stated, pressing the button off; before she leaned back and rubbed her face a bit to show concern, while her features had come into view.

She was seen as an adult woman, had a pair of round looking blue glasses on; and black hair, with her hair, pulled back into a ponytail; she was wearing a fancy looking red shirt with black jeans and black smart shoes, she also had a pair of blue earrings in her ear's that were posts, and a blue beaded pearl looking necklace along with blue bracelets on both her left and right wrist.

Melanie didn't know what Ralph had wanted, but there was only one person she knew by the name of "Ralph" and that was the Ralph she knew years ago, the one that she nearly got arrested; and after that neither of them had seen each other, she was rather concerned and she wanted to make sure everything was okay; but at the same time didn't want to come and see him, curious if he just wanted to hurt her or something? and with this, she glanced over towards an image of her family seen on her desk, as she shook her head trying to tell herself to stay calm.

Meanwhile the visualization soon changed to that of Anna and Ralph seen approaching an elevator and entering into it, as Anna pressed the up button; before the elevator's doors closed, as Anna could see Ralph take in a deep breath of air as though feeling rather nervous; causing her to appear concerned, as she shook her head.

"You don't have to see her you know, it's okay.." Anna said, as Ralph shook his head looking over at her.

"N-Nonsense, she is our LAST shot at perhaps publishing your book..it's for the best of everyone." He said as Anna shook her head; before everything soon went quiet between the two of them.
