Saturday

I was listening to my tagalog playlist, which consist of some old but worthy listening songs. I was in the living room, with my feet on the table and my grandfather reading a newspaper on his rocking chair. It was a great morning.

'Kahit Maputi na ang Buhok ko' played. I was humming while writing random things on my notebook when i suddenly remembered my grandmother. My grandmother passed away last February. It was a painful thing to remember but i have lot of sweet memories with her.

I glanced at my grandfather, he was smiling while humming, too. I asked him.

"Amang, isn't this Inang and your theme song since it was released?"

He put the newspaper on the table and he chuckled. I suddenly felt guilty when i saw pain in his eyes. Even though he was chuckling.

"Yes. Yes it is" he said. I lowered the volume of my speaker and then gave my attention to him.

"I remembered those day when we used to dance this together. You were four years old back then when the song was released. She's on her beautiful white dress, her curly locks made her more beautiful. We were dancing like there's no more tomorrow."

I smiled as i saw his eyes twinkle with the thought of my grandmother. I hope i can find a man like him in the future, too.

"I miss her" he uttered.

I got my phone and made the song into repeat mode. I put the volume into its maximum and i stood up.

"So, shall we?" i smiled to my grandfather.

He chuckled and stood up.

"Of course my dear, of course."

I danced with him with my oversized shirt and pajamas until we were tired from dancing. He was laughing and so am i when we reminisce his happy moments with grandma.

"I'm sure she's just around here. Laughing, too"
