34. A Man

We visited my 98-year old lola from America who came home just this April at her house.

Of course, catching up here and there. I didn't know she was THAT updated to our lives that she even knew that my older cousin had been cheated on by her boyfriend.

"How are you and your boyfriend now? Matino na ba siya? Hindi na nagloloko?" she asked. Ate smiled.

"Yes, la. It's because he realized I'm much beautiful than her kerida, he said." she answered and my brows furrowed at what she had answered.

What?

Everyone went silent when our lola laughed and clapped her hands like she was happy on what she had heard.

She pointed a finger at my older cousin.

"Break up with him. A man never base his love on physical appearance. Huwag kang tanga. Kahit hindi ka pa maganda, kung mahal ka, mahal ka."

And i automatically clapped my hands with what she stated.
