S1 E3: Dinner and A Movie

"So... What do you want to do?" Adrien asked.

Marinette shrugged. "Your father says to do whatever you want. So what do you want to do?"

"Oh, um..." Adrien's thoughts were interrupted by his stomach growling. "Eat."

Marinette laughed, gesturing for Adrien to walk in front of her. "Okay, then. Lead the way."

Adrien nodded and led Marinette to the dining room. Marinette gaped at the spacious and utterly gorgeous room. The table was so long that the chairs lined up on each side could seat about twenty people. She wondered why so many chairs were needed only to seat two people. There were two large rectangular windows to her right and a sitting area with a fireplace straight ahead.

"Beautiful..."

Adrien chuckled at her reaction and pulled out a chair for her. Once she had sat down, he pushed her into the table before sitting beside her.

Marinette tried not to blush as her crush had just pushed her in like the gentlemen he was. "Th-Thank you, Adrien! G-Glad to know chivalry isn't... isn't completely dead."

Adrien shook his head, flashing a charming smile. "Of course not!"

Just then, Nathalie had brought out two trays of food, placing them in front of the two teens. "A second plate was made for Marinette in case she was hungry, too."

Marinette smiled widely at the freshly cooked dinner placed in front of her before up at Nathalie. "Thank you very much."

"Yeah, thanks, Nathalie," Adrien added.

Nathalie nodded and left the kids to eat in peace.

"Ooh! Looks so good!" Marinette clapped her hands before placing her napkin on her lap and picking up her fork. "I didn't have time for dinner before I came here, so I'm starving!"

Adrien laughed before very collectedly cutting into the chicken and placing it into his mouth, careful not to get sauce on his face, and in the case that he did, he'd wipe it off before it was even noticeable. On the other hand, though she didn't eat in an atrocious manner, Marinette was not as proper as Adrien. She didn't mind the sauce on her face, or rather, she wasn't paying much attention to it. Adrien took amusement in her eating, thinking she was extremely cute in doing so, as the sauce collected in the corners of her lips.
