Marinette changed clothes and scrubbed off the fake tattoo and face makeup, as Adrien did the same on the opposite side of the division.
"Adrien?"
"Yeah?" He responded.
Marinette huffed, "How many showers will it take to get the dye out of my hair?"
Adrien chuckled. "It's only hair chalk. It should come right out."
Marinette pouted. "I can't go home like this... My parents would kill me! I'll wash it out now, if you'd just give me a few minutes."
"Do you want me to help you?" Adrien offered. "It might be difficult to wash it out yourself in a sink like that."
Marinette blushed. "Y-You'd do that?"
"Well, sure," Adrien replied. "It'd be no trouble at all."
"A-Alright..." Marinette said softly. "I'm dressed. You can come."
Adrien met her on her side of the curtain before grabbing a chair, placing it near the sink. "Sit down and take out your pigtails. Just give me a moment..."
Marinette did as she was told and removed her pigtails as Adrien searched through some hair products.
"This, this, and yeah." He turned to Marinette. "So, water should wash it out, but whatever they use dries the crud out of your hair so we'd better use this. And the spray is for frizz."
Marinette raised her eyebrows. "Seems like you really know your stuff!"
Adrien hummed a yes as he lifted his sleeves. "Of course! I take serious pride in my hair. Look, you don't think this hair just happens, do you?"
Marinette erupted with laughter as Adrien ran his hands through his hair.
"Good point."
Adrien smiled. He liked that he could make Marinette laugh. He liked that she was always so eager to be around him. He knew she was not a person he could lose. She meant too much to him. And he was going to do anything that would keep her happy while she was with him. Beginning with washing the indigo chalk out of her hair.
He started up the sink, waiting until the water became warm.
"Lay back."
Marinette laid against the sink and Adrien let the water rinse out the majority of the dye before adding the shampoo. He scrubbed her head and she awkwardly watched him do so.
Adrien noticed her uneasiness. "What? Am I hurting you?"
"N-No."
Adrien smiled. "Then what's wrong? I usually enjoy having this done for me."
Marinette giggled, imagining her adorable blond friend treating himself at a salon. "Me too."
Adrien frowned as he removed his hands from her scalp. "Well, does it not feel good when I do it?"
"No, it does! It does!" Marinette replied frantically, before pouting. "And I never said you could stop."
