Gabriel's POV

For many years, Duusu and Nooroo were our close companions, supporting and aiding us in our daily lives. Though in secret, the kwamis attended our wedding, hidden in the decorative flowers. Nooroo acted as a second opinion for my fashion works before submitting my ideas to Mlle Bourgeois. Meanwhile, Duusu served well as someone for Emilie to babble on about everything under the sun, so I could work in peace.

"What are we working on today, Gabriel?" Nooroo asked as he circled around my desk. His eyes widened as my sketches resembled him and Duusu. "O-Oh... What is this?"

"It's my day off today, so I thought I'd have some fun," I explained, collecting my designs to present them. "I understand we shouldn't use the Miraculous, but Emilie has acquired such a superhero obsession, so I thought she'd like if I drew us up some costumes inspired by you kwamis."

Nooroo found himself sighing in relief. I suppose he believed I intended on using the Miraculous with the costumes in mind. The kwami then smiled, settling on my shoulder.

"May I help?"

"Oh, sure!" I returned. "I call this one Hawk Moth."

Nooroo hummed in inspection. "Try a lighter shade of violet for the base color."

"Got it."

"Lighter... yeah, that one!" The kwami narrowed his eyes. "It would look cooler with a cane."

"Good idea."

"And, uh," Nooroo thought for a moment, flipping on his back for a different angle, "lose the wings."

"Aw, not the wings!" I pouted. "I think they're cool."

Nooroo folded his arms. "Lose them."

I rolled my eyes and erased the wings, leaving the outline to spite of my lavender-colored friend. "Whatever." I pinned the design on my wall and placed Emilie's sketch in front of us. "What about this one?"

"Love the color contrast of green and blue, even though purple is the best color," Nooroo stated. "But you need to give her chest some room to breathe. Her wedding dress wasn't even this modest."

"It's traditional and not too showy," I protested, knitting my eyebrows. "Besides, what do you know about her chest?"

"Forget traditional. It's almost the 2000's." Nooroo retorted, "And I know because I'm a kwami. It's not uncommon to hide in our holders' clothes."

I wanted to argue further, but decided against it. It may seem out of character for Nooroo to act so boldly, but as he became comfortable with me, he always spoke his mind with ease. I chuckled at the humor he'd suppressed when we had first discovered him, and made the modifications he'd suggested.

Nooroo smiled widely. "She'll love it!"

I bit back a blush. "Y-You think?"

The kwami nodded. "Absolutely!"

 "Absolutely!"
