"I-I don't know how I feel about this..."
Adrien perked up from his near-sleeping state in response to hearing Nathalie's voice. "Just come out and show us, Nathalie!"
"Yeah," Marinette added, "I'm sure you look stunning."
Nathalie stepped out of the dressing stall with reddened cheeks. Her gown was absolutely gorgeous and fit her perfectly. The fabric traced her curves beautifully and the white with black dot skirt draped all the way down to the floor. The silver stones trailed her body like a sash and a silk white cape wrapped around her chest as it fell down her back.
"Oh my Gosh Nathalie!" Marinette exclaimed. "It's so pretty on you!"
"Is it really?" She looked up at them, laughing as she had just realized their positioning. "Oh my... You guys are so cute!"
The teens had noticed that Adrien was still sitting on Marinette's lap. They both blushed and Adrien hesitantly removed himself.
Marinette shook her head. "Nathalie, don't down yourself like that. Come on give us a spin."
Nathalie smiled softly. "Oh, alright..."
She turned around so Adrien and Marinette could see the dress at all angles. The both cheered for her, making her blush. The dress was rather long, so she managed to trip over the bottom, and fall to all fours.
Adrien and Marinette gasped and came to her sides, but couldn't help but burst into laughter.
Marinette dropped to her knees in front of her, biting back her giggles. "Are you okay?"
Nathalie nodded, unable to stop herself from laughing out of embarrassment. She covered her face with her hands. "Oh my God! I'm terrible at this!"
"No, you're not," Adrien encouraged. "The dress is just long. You should get it hemmed."
"Or..." Marinette smiled, standing up and making her way to a shoe aisle. She searched through them and picked out some black, pointed-toe heels with a single strap lined with silver stones. "Maybe these?"
Adrien nodded, helping Nathalie up and to the chair. "Good idea, Mari."
Marinette brought the heels to Nathalie to which she accepted and tried them on. Meanwhile, something caught Adrien's eye and he wandered off for a moment, unnoticed.
"They fit well," Marinette says cheerfully, "and they look good on you, Nat!"
Nathalie stood, examining the shoes on her feet in the mirror. "You think so?"
"Yea--"
Marinette was interrupted by small breezes being sent to her face. She turned to the direction of the breeze to find Adrien, with a mischievous glint in his eye, flapping a fan in her face.
