Nathalie and Gabriel soon joined them on the couch and they laughed at the sight of the kids cuddling within the blanket. Adrien and Marinette perked up at the smell of warm butter and turned to Nathalie holding a bowl of popcorn.

"Want to watch a movie together?"

Adrien smiled brightly. "Sure."

Marinette nodded, grabbing the popcorn and hiding it on her lap within the blanket.

"I hope you plan on sharing, Marinette."

Marinette looked up to Adrien, her mouth full, and knitted her eyebrows.

Adrien chuckled. "I guess not."

Marinette grabbed some popcorn and held it in front of Adrien's face, which laid over her head. He smiled and accepted the popcorn.

Gabriel laughed before striding over to retrieve the remote

Gabriel laughed before striding over to retrieve the remote. "What would you like to watch?"

Adrien gained an incredulous smile. "Lilo and Stitch!"

"Figures," Gabriel grinned, searching for the movie. "I never understood why you liked that movie so much."

Adrien shrugged. "Because it's about a broken family that managed to feel whole again." He rested his cheek atop Marinette's head. "I always hoped my family would be mended too."

Gabriel seemed to feel badly, so Adrien took his hand. "And it was. I love you." He turned to Nathalie, also holding her hand. "Both of you. Nathalie, you're... like a mom to me."

Nathalie fidgeted, smiling widely. She wasn't sure if it was okay to act so happy about Adrien's comment in front of Gabriel, given that he wasn't over Emilie yet. However, she glanced at him for just a moment, only long enough to see that he was unbothered. In fact, he seemed glad.

Nathalie pulled Adrien close to her to press a kiss to his cheek. "I love you too, Adrien. Like a son."

Adrien bit his lip, preventing himself from smiling any wider, in fear his face would hurt. He was more than happy to hear her call him her son. Then, he returned to the pigtailed girl in his lap, kissing her forehead as she looked up at him.

"And we have my Stitch here to thank for bringing our family together."

Marinette giggled. "I love our family."

Adrien nodded, giving her an Eskimo kiss.

Gabriel hit the play button and the movie began. The four enjoyed their family time for a bit, laughing at the funny parts, and Adrien asking for popcorn and only a 50% chance of Marinette actually giving it to him. However, the peace and happiness of their company was short lived. Only ten minutes into the movie, Gabriel's phone went off.

"Come on, Gabe," Marinette rolled her eyes. "You know the rules: turn off your phone at the movie theater."

Gabriel chuckled and took out his phone, checking the caller ID. "Sorry." Then he looked up at the kids, regretfully. "It's work. I have to take this."
