There was once a little boy, he had nothing. But the little boy didn't mind, he had never had anything so it was nothing new. He meets another boy, and suddenly he had a friend. He had something, and he liked having a friend. It was nice.
The seasons passed, and soon the boy was a man. But his friend was ripped away, and the man never saw him again. That's until he was invited to join a server, he had just left his old one so he accepted.
There he met his old friend, but his friend was different. He was mean and not kind boy he had met during his childhood, and he had forgotten about the boy.
That was fine, thought the man, everyone forgets.
He was told to stay away from his old friend, the man was told his friend was a bad person. Lies, his friend wasn't bad, simply misunderstood. So he tried to befriend his old friend once again, but everytime he was rejected.
He asked his guardians if it was his fault, since he wasn't there for him. His guardians answered no, it wasn't his fault. It was after his friend got here that he started to change, the man had nothing to do with it.
The man wept, he had lost his dearest friend and he could never get him back. And the sky wept with him, for even it knew that the man needed company he wasn't getting.
He remembers staying in his base, and no one came to look. At first he thought that was normal, they probably just thought he had been working on one of his projects. But when another wasn't see everyone rushed to their base, all ready to help.
Where was that treatment for him? Was he that forgettable?
Months passed, and some noticed him a tiny bit more but most didn't. Out of curiosity he hid, he wanted to see how long it would take them to notice.
He hid and he hid, and he got bored. So he decided to spice things up, he took a potion. The potion would put him in hardcore untile he took the cure.
So now with the potion in effect, he hid again. Time past, minutes become hours, hours become days, days become weeks and weeks become months.
After 4 months of hiding he was found, but it was too late. He had reached the end of his stay in this world.
It was his old friend who found him, an old friend who finally recognized him. An old friend who for the first time in years wept, for a friend he lost, found and then lost once again.
The mans guardians wept, for they loved him with all of there beings and now he was gone. The server wept, for a man no one knew.
They left what he had, and took nothing he owned. They buried him upon a hill overlooking a world he had helped build, the grave facing the setting sun.
And upon the grave it read:
-:-:-:-:-Grian-:-:-:-:-
A man no one knew, and never will.
May he be happier wherever he may be, then he was here.
That day, the world wept for the man who deserved better. A man who did his best, but was ignored. For someone no one bothered to befriend, and once they wanted to it was already too late.
They did nothing, and now they pay the price. But no one paid more the the old friend, he turned down the man so many times. And for what? Because he just didn't want to get attached? He wanted to try again, but he couldn't.
So the old friend wept, and the world wept with him. And no one judged, for they, too, wept for the man they never knew.
I had the idea, I wrote the idea.
And I regret nothing, so enjoy this angst.
