Blue Secrets AU

In this AU Scar, Grian and Doc are all merpeople.

Scar is a light blue and white betta with bits of red. Grian is a red flying fish, which means has "wings" and kan "fly" in the water and he can jump out of the water and glide for a few meters before diving down again. And Doc is a green moray eel, his robotic parts work under the water.

Grian has almost no relation to the Watchers but is more connected to the Shadows, aka Zloy and Pixl. (Also Shadows are basically a subclass of the Watchers, having the ability to help players through updates, but they are not immortal like the Watchers. They are technically just players who inhabit a world that was never theirs).

Gertrude was a real person that raised Grian since he was a kid (she isn't his mom, not by birth at least), she is an octopus mermaid.

She is a sea witch, aka a witch that lives in the sea.

Sadly she died a bit before the Hermits got to the new world, and that's why Grian was at the surface and not with her in the deep.

I should probably add this now, there is ONE fully sea based world in which the merpeople originate from. It has sections that act like biomes (kelp forests, coral reefs, baran gravel lands etc...) and depending on if your in cold, lukewarm or warm the types of merpeople and biomes wary. There are of course merpeople in different main worlds to but they are way fewer and usually stay in their land forms and stay on land instead of in water.

There is a version of this where all of the Hermits are merpeople, so I might make a story for that when my list of stories that need to be written has shortened (same goes for any other fic I'll be writing with this AU)

Doc (believe it or not) originally lived in a coral reef part of the world (Mind you it was right next to a deep cold part of the world, so he was born there but later moved to the coral part). Scar lived in a warm shallower part of the world. And Grian lived, in exactly the same place he lives in right now. No I mean it, he and Gertrude have been living in that sea for years.

I would like to mention a few things about some of my AU's real quick, this has nothing to do with this AU but I have no other place to put it so it's going here. Alright, some of the AU's have one set ship that can't be changed no matter what. For example Project E.V.O is strictly Gridoc, since the AU was literally made for Gridoc. TRMAS is obviously Architech (since I held a voting for it and all) but fun fact, it was originally going to be GriEX but that was changed early on for... reasons I will not tell. And Hell Cursed is Grisuma (And I'll try to write up a short story about their wedding).

Also! In the recent fic where Grian died, the old friend was EX. Didn't know if anyone picked up on that or not.

Now back to the AU! There is no particular ship for this, but the ones I usually see are Scarian, Gridoc, Grumbo and Grisuma.

No matter how you pull it, Doc is always the one who finds out about Grian first. And Grian, Doc and Scar all hold a close bond no matter what.

Grian's wings are exactly like they usually are, but more of a reddish color and they dry super quickly.

Grian has sharp teeth, but shorter than normal in this AU (Did I not say that he has sharp teeth in all my other fics? My bad!)

That's all of this AU for now! This will probably be updated as this goes on but it will not be published again after this!

And if you want to use any of my AU's (but I ask that you stay away from Project E.V.O or any other fic with that has complicated lore or deals heavily with the Watchers since you will not understand most of those things) or if your writing or drawing something based off of anything I've done, I ask that you comment and tell me where I can find it!
