Tango didn't have anything against Christmas per-say, but he sure as hell didn't like it. With all the bright lights everywhere there was never a dull or quiet moment. And he hated it, because one of the few reasons he actually stayed up late to watch the stars appear in the dark night sky.
But now? Now it was all just bright lights, lights that hid the beauty of the night. Lights that hid his only comfort at times.
So with an irritated sigh he sent a text to Grian.

<Hey G?>

<Hi Tango! Need anything?>
+++Tango+++
<Yeah... Can you take me to that one little build above the shopping district? Please?>
+++Grian+++
<Sure, see you in a bit!>
The demon sat down in front of Grian's cart, one of the less decorated shops in the district, only having a few fake snowflakes hung up here and there on it. Which he was thankful for, and he silently thanked Grian a million times over for it.
It took Grian awhile to get to him, the small Hermit wrapped in a tight burrito of clothes. He let out a little snicker at the sight, not being able to contain it, "Comfy there, man?"
Grian glared at the demon as he made his way towards him, standing on his tiptoes to better get access to rub his cheek against Tango's. The action even more cat like then when the taller did it since he was an actual cat, "Ha ha, very funny," huffed Grian, words kinda drowned by the scarf he had.
"Sorry, couldn't help it," smiled Tango, "But seriously, what's with the layers? You usually only wear your sweater or a thicker version of it. So what changed?"
"Impy was being overly worried about me getting sick," said Grian with an eye roll, thinking that his boyfriend was overreacting, "He wouldn't let me leave without all of it on"
"Sounds like a classic Imp move," grinned Tango, chest rumbling with a little laugh, "Now, can we head off? I'd really like some me-time as soon as I can"
Grian smiled at him sadly, knowing exactly why the other wanted to get away as soon as he could, "Sure thing, Tang," and with one swift motion he grabbed the blond under his arms and took off, going up and up until he reached an almost invisible platform, "We're here"
"Thank you, G, I appreciate it"
"Anything for my favorite-not-brother-but-still-brother brother!" grinned Grian with bright eyes, violet eyes almost glowing in away. He plopped himself down next to the demons feet, said demon was still standing in the same places as when they'd landed, "Aren't you going to sit down?"
"No," said Tango absentmindedly, red eyes locked onto something down below them. Looking down himself the dirty blond could see a group of people down below, thank you enhanced eyesight!, mingling and talking. Among them where Zedaph, his dark brown knee length coat wrapped tightly around him, and what looked like a steaming cup of hot chocolate in his hands, "He's so, so..."
"Happy? Cold on the outside and warm on the inside? Blond? Outside?" enquired Grian, an eyebrow raised in a questioning manner.
"So breathtaking," breathed Tango, proving his words true in the same sentence as he said it.
Grian smiled at his friend, "You love him," It wasn't a question, just a statement.
A soft smile spread across the blonds face, "Yeah, I do"
