Grian's words chilled the hermits, they were said in such a cold uncaring tone.
The two "leaders", Doc and Xisuma, looked at each other before motioning for the other hermits there to gather with them a bit away from Grian.
And as they were speaking the two Shadows who still stood by Grian grew nervous, the dirty blond had activated his warlock powers and that could only mean one of two things. One, he was judging everyone there and finding out there secrets (as he had done to them the first time they meet) or two, he was calling for backup.
God, they hoped it was the first one.
It was a few minutes before the hermits were done talking, some looking kinda guilty while others looked satisfied.
"We have decided," began X, his voice strong despite his inner turmoil, "That you are no longer welcome here, you lied to us all and you shall pay the price for that. Pack your stuff and be gone before nightfall"
Grian said nothing, but his eyes did stop glowing, and only nodded before flying away from the field, most likely back to his base. As he became nothing but a dot in the distance the hermits got a bittersweet feeling, something wasn't right, but they couldn't pinpoint what.
One hour after the interaction Grian ceased to be a member of the Hermitcraft server, and all traces of him was left burning. No, literally left burning. The pickle shop was blown to bits, the bottom a burning mess, the lazy sod cart was also in flames. But the main thing, his base, was the worse. Chunks of the pillars and top was scattered around the surrounding area from where it had obviously been blown up and what remained was buried in giant flames.
Mumbo, being the one closest to Grian's base, saw everything first and he immediately called for all of the other hermits to meet him at his base. And after showing all the others they were all mortified.
"You should be happy it was his base and not the entire server" said Zloy, appearing from the shadows along with his brunette companion.
The group looked at him shocked, he couldn't be serious.
It was Joe who was brave enough to ask, "What are ya talking about? Has he done this before?"
Zloy nodded in affirmation, "He has, it was one of the first things we found out about him. Years ago he destroyed an entire server, perma-killing everyone on it. We don't know why he did it, but we do know he had a reason to do it"
"I-I what" spluttered Tango, face showing how shocked he was, "What do you mean he destroyed an entire server"
Pixl spoke up, hurrying to explain "He didn't do it on his own of course, he had help"
"What does that change?" questions Doc, now seeing the danger he was in yesterday, "He still destroyed the server!"
Pixl turned to Zloy, the other doing the same and they started muttering to one another. And Ren being the closest and the one with enhanced hearing picked up parts of the conversation.
Notably he heard "I knew telling them was a bad idea", "They are going to kill us if they hate him even more now" and most notably was "I think Ind and Indom will perma kill them, so I think we should get them out of here"
And before Ren could ask them who Ind and Indom where the server violently rippled, and a portal appeared above the destroyed tower and two figures dropped out of it. The group was close enough, yet also far enough, only to see that the figures were vaguely dragon like.
The two Shadows thought fast as they stepped in front of the two approaching figueres.
The smaller of the two creatures pulled up and then immediately dove down to snatch up Xisuma with its sharp toothed maw. The green clad hermit called out for help, his cries dying down as he was lifted higher and higher. Doc tried throwing his trident but it was knocked away by the other creature, and said creature then proceed to snatch up Doc not so gently with its hind legs and then flying after the other creature who had made its way back to the portal.
