To start, I love feedback, if you have any comments, positive or negative(constructive, please), leave them. This is very loosely based on Friends. Basically, Virgil and Logan are roommates, across the hall is Roman and Patton. Patton's little bro, Emile, lives across the street with his boyfriend Remy They are human around the age of 20.
For the past six months, Patton and Logan have been dating. Not that their friends knew. They would only meet up at night or during work hours, they would act normal when in their friend group, they even sometimes went to a hotel instead of their apartment, scared to risk their friends finding out. They took tons of precautions, until one night they had let their guard down. Virgil had been over at Roman's for "Playing Kingdom Hearts," so Patton and Logan went to watch a movie in Logan's room. They cuddled under the covers and put on Hercules. They left their door open a crack to hear when Virgil entered the apartment. When he didn't arrive on time, they put on another movie, Love, Simon.
Virgil entered the apartment, shutting the door silently. His purple hair was messy and his neck had a couple of marks that almost matched his hair. His jacket was draped over his arm, letting you see his Twenty One Pilots shirt. He walked to the recliner in his living room, wiping the saliva off of his jawline, before hearing an annoyed groan from Logan's room and a voice say:
"Logie, I don't want to go. Why can't I stay here?" and someone shushing them, presumably Logan. Virgil approaches the door, watching silently from the entrance. Logan and Patton were in Logan's bed, Logan's arms around Patton and Patton nuzzled into Logan's chest. Logan didn't have his dress clothes on, he had his unicorn onesie, and Patton had on his Cat onesie.
"Patton, you know why. I wish you could stay longer too, trust me. I love you." Patton looked up from the screen, pecking Logan's lips.
"I love you too. But why can't I just sleep here tonight and then just wake up early and leave? I just want to spend more time with you. I feel like we never see each other." Patton looked down at the blanket, sad. Logan squeezed Patton with his arms. Virgil looked at them confused.
"I know, and I want to be with you more too. But we don't have the time right now. We can go on a date tomorrow, is that okay?" Logan's voice was soft, against his normal monotone, robot voice. He actually cared, and his tone carried it well. This took Virgil back, but Patton nodded vigorously, clearly happy, making Logan smile.
"What the heck..." Virgil muttered, making Logan's head jerk towards the door. Logan and Patton quickly pull the dark blanket over his head, Patton sinking so his head is on the bed.
"Hey, Virge." Logan's voice went up an octave, his hand under the blanket in Patton's hair. "Why are you in my room?"
"The better question is why is Patton in your bed?!" Patton, not that either of them could say it, got flustered, slowly shifting to wrap his arms around Logan's stomach to calm down. Logan tried his best to calm down too before speaking.
"Patton is not in my bed. Patton is mostly in his own bed, I doubt that he would be in some random person's bed and Remy and Emile..." Logan thought about how to phrase this without scarring or scaring the boy under his blanket. "... They're never quite enough to sleep in the same apartment as." Virgil stifled a laugh before shaking it off and concentrating on the matter at hand.
"No, Logan. Patton's in your bed, just why?" Logan sighed. He knew that there was no point, he had seen them together. Logan pulled the covers off of Patton, revealing the scared boy wrapped around Logan. Their legs were intertwined and Patton's right hand was holding Logan's left. Logan's right hand was tangled in Patton's hair, which was frizzy and messy from being under the covers.
"Patton... and I have been in a relationship for the past 6 months. Of course, we make a better effort to hide it than you and Roman." Logan motioned to his neck while Patton sat up in the bed, letting go of Logan's left and moved to use his left to hold Logan's right. Virgil covered up one of the marks with his hand. "You can't tell anyone. I love Patton, but Roman and Emile would just be... weird and mad."
"Yes, I know Emile and Roman. I love Logan, but they would just think that he's making me less 'pure'. It happened with my last boyfriends. I still don't know what they mean, how am I 'pure'?" Logan pet Patton's hair, knowing what it meant. Virgil is filled with another type of curiosity, okay with his found father and found mother's relationship.
"Is he still pure?" Virgil asks slowly. Logan's face heated up dramatically and looked away from Virgil and Patton.
"O-Of course he is. He's still the same Patton he was before, he just sleeps in my bed now as opposed to on my floor when he stays over." Patton giggled, thinking he was joking. Logan smiled at the sound of his joy.
"How have you gone six months without... him being not pure?" Logan rolled his eyes.
"We aren't like you and Roman, who... un-purify each other at every possible moment. Patton and I love each other, emotionally. Not physically." Patton smiled at Logan, figuratively warming his heart. "N-Not that we don't cuddle and stuff. B-But that's the closest that we get to what y-you're thinking." Patton looked at Logan with a confused expression.
"Baby, what is he talking about?"
"N-Nothing!" Virgil laughed as Logan kissed Patton's forehead.
"I won't tell anyone, don't worry. Just don't do that stuff in front of me and don't be too loud." Virgil's comment made Logan blush but just made Patton confused.
"I-I already said, we don't-"
"Not yet," Virgil said before slamming the door and going to his room, calling Roman, whom he missed in the small amount of time they were apart.
