"It's going to be so nice-"
"A romantic dinner at Patton's favourite restaurant-"
"Dessert at Logan's favourite restaurant-"
"We're going to the park that we had our first kiss at-"
"And then we're going to the beach that we had our first date at for a sunset walk!" Patton said. Roman looked at him sweetly.
"Awe! That's so sweet!" Roman exclaimed. "You two are so cute together!"
"I'm so glad you think so, Roman. There's something else I want to do tonight, too." Patton said nervously. He reached into his pocket and fiddled with the box, tracing his finger over the hinge.
"Oh, what's that?"
"I want to propose to Logan tonight..." He said even more nervous than before. Roman's smile widened.
"Oh, my god! Patton, that's amazing! Let me see the--" Before Roman could finish, Patton pulled out the blue velvet box and opened it, showing the sapphire and diamond ring. Roman's eyes widened. "How the heck did you afford that?"
"I've been saving money for the past 12 years. And it was only 1.5 thousand." Patton said as if it were cheap. Which, for an engagement ring, is actually about in the middle.
"Okay, so that means that every year, on average, you got 125 dollars?" Roman asked, taking the box from Patton.
"I mean, I also have graduation money," Patton said, taking it back. He shut it and put it back in his pocket. Roman rolled his eyes.
"Still. I mean, how much money do you have left over, it can't be that much, can it?"
"137."
"How?"
"Allowance. Now, come on, help me pick out what to wear," Patton said, standing up and walking to his closet and Roman followed suit.
They decided on a cotton candy blue sweater, a powder pink skirt with matching suspenders, lacey blue and pink flats, and a blue and pink bow in the side of Patton's hair that held back the left half.
I normally don't do this, but to clarify, time skip to the end of the date, sorry
"Logan, this was amazing," Patton said, turning to his boyfriend. He kept one hand at his own side, resting on his pink skirt, but held Logan's hand with the other. "I'm so happy with you." Logan smiled.
"I'm so happy with you too, Patton." Patton kept his hold on Logan's hand, but turned to look at the setting sun across the ocean. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" Logan asked, staring at Patton.
"Yeah." Patton giggled a bit and pulled the ring out of his sweater pocket. He shook a little bit.
"Hey, Lo?" Patton let go of Logan's hand.
"Yes, Star?" Logan asked. He missed Patton's hand. Patton turned to Logan and got down on one knee.
"Logan..." Logan turned to face him. His eyes widened.
"Patton, what are you doing?" Logan asked, his voice slightly panicked. Patton opened the box.
"Honestly... I don't know, Lo. But I want to be with you while I do it. I want to be with you my entire life. Lo, you make me so happy. And I've learned that my life is so much duller without you, I love you so much. I can barely imagine my life without you, and from what I can think of... I really don't want that. So Logan, will you marry me?" Patton asked, afraid. Logan stared at Patton with wide eyes.
"Patton, I love you... but--" Patton sniffled and stood up, shutting the box.
"N-No, it's fine, I get it, you don't--"
"No! I mean, Patton, I really want to marry you. I love you so much... so much in fact that, I, uh..." Logan pulled out a red box out of his pocket and opened it. "I was going to propose to you tonight." Patton smiled with tears in his eyes. Logan smiled too and Patton put the ring on Logan's finger.
"Logan, I want to spend my life with you. I'm so sure of it. I'm so glad that you want to be with me too." Patton said, pulling Logan into a kiss.
"I love you, Patton."
"I love you too, Logan."
Word Count- 663, this was even shorter than the last, sorry.
