"Excuse me?" Patton asked as he approached the hansom-looking man. It was about noon.

"Yes, can I help you?" The man asked. Patton blushed and fiddled with his cardigan, looking back to a table with 2 other people, his friends Roman and Virgil. "Do we know each other?"

"N-No! I'm Patton Hart. C-Could I ask y-your name?" Patton asked. The man adjusted his glasses.

"My name is Logan Kroft." He said. Patton smiled slightly.

"I-I'm usually not f-forward but..." Patton stuttered. "N-Never mind! I'm sorry for bothering you!" He said quickly before turning around. Roman rolled his eyes and approached the two young men, turning Patton around.

"This is my friend, Patton, as soon as you walked in he couldn't shut up about how hot he thought you were." Roman said, making Patton hit him slightly.

"Roman!"

"So me and my boyfriend told him to either shut up or go talk to you, so he came here but now he's ducking out." Roman said as Patton nervously fiddled with his hands.

"Quack." Patton muttered. "I... You just looked really nice... and you also looked lonely. Like you could you use some company." He said timidly. "B-But you might want to be alone, so I figured--"

"Patton, that's quite enough." Logan said, making Patton a bit nervous. "You may join me if you wish. I was hoping I had some company." He said. Patton smiled.

"I would love to join you." Roman smiled too and returned to his table as Patton took a seat at Logan's.

They talked about things they enjoyed, discovering their shared love of Sherlock and that they both wanted to work in law enforcement, Patton wanting to be a detective and Logan wanting to be a lawyer. And by the end?

"What time is it?" Patton asked. "S-Sorry, I don't have a watch and my phone is dead." He said. Logan looked at his watch, his eyes widening.

"Goodness, it's 5:27. We've been here for about 5 hours, at least." Logan said. "I haven't the slightest clue how I lost track of time, I'm usually very punctual." He said. Patton looked to the table that Virgil and Roman were sitting at, only to find that they were no longer there. Virgil and Roman's dates lasted hours, the fact that they left first meant something.

"Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry, do you need to be somewhere?" Patton asked, worried that he held him behind.

"Technically, but I'd rather be here." He said, causing Patton to blush. "My sister's back in town and she's staying at my house. Ever since I came out as gay, she's despised me." Logan said.

"You're gay?"

"Yes..." He said, embarrassed, seemingly forgetting how they met in the first place. "I hope that you accept me." Patton giggled.

"Of course I do! I'm gay too!" He said cheerfully. "Speaking of which, you wouldn't maybe want to go out... for coffee or dinner... or something? For maybe... a date?" Patton asked. For what was actually not the first time of the time he spent with Patton, Logan smiled.

"Another date sounds wonderful, as long as it's with you?" Logan said. Patton's face heated up.

"A-Another?"

"Considering how long we've spent here, this should be considered as a... r-romantic outing." Logan said. Patton smiled. Logan stood up. "I should probably go. My family is expecting me." Patton stood up as well.
