Soulmate AU- When your soulmate draws or marks themselves (if they do it themselves) it shows up on you.

Patton felt cold touch his arm again. It happened whenever his soulmate drew or wrote on themself. He shivered a bit.

"What'd they write this time?" Roman asked. Roman sat next to Patton in English, Science, History and Algebra. Patton checked his arm.

"'Geometry Homework- Friday'. They must be in the grade above us." He whispered.

'Playing Quiz- Monday'

'Tech Week- 9th to 15th'

'Buy a gift for Virgil's birthday- Dec. 19'

"Does he ever stop?" Roman asked, motioning to Patton's arm. It was lunch now.

"I don't think so. I think he likes being organized, but I don't understand why he doesn't just keep a planner," Patton said. Roman's brother, and good friend, Remy came up to the table with his soulmate.

Remy had always been determined to find his soulmate, so when he turned 12 he wrote 'What's your name, soulmate?' And when he met the Emile Picani, he immediately kissed him, the thing he had always wanted to do.

"Hey, girls."

"Hello, hello, hello." Emile greeted. "What are we talking about?"

"Patton's soulmate. He keeps leaving things on his arm, like dates and stuff. Like, apparently he's got tech week with us."

"Yeah, he-" Roman suddenly screeched, clutching his wrist in his left hand. This wasn't the first time that this had happened. Came from Roman's wrist was blood. Yes, this was the flaw of the soulmate system, when someone committed self-harm, their soulmate would feel the pain too. Patton quickly pulled bandages out of Roman's bag. He had started carrying them with him after this happened during algebra and it got on his finished test. Patton wiped up the blood from Roman's arm and bandaged the five cuts.

"I feel bad for Roman's soulmate," Emile said. "He must think that he has a reason to do this. I wish we could meet him." Roman puts his hand on his head.

"Yeah, me too. He must've lost a lot of blood. We wrapped up as soon as we could, and I'm a little light-headed." He blinked a bit. "I should go find a custodian." He said, stumbling off.

"So, what's up with your soulmate, Patton?"

"He's got geometry homework, a playing quiz, tech week for something and this guy Virgil's birthday." Patton read off of his arm. Remy's eyes widened.

"Virgil? I know a Virgil. He's not here today though. But we live near him, if you want, we can go see him after school. See if he knows anyone who writes on his arms." Remy said. He smirks. "I mean, Roman will be jazzed."

"What do you mean."

"Roman is totally crushing on him. I think I heard him moaning his name from the bathroom a couple of times when he was in the shower. And I found his Instagram open after one of them. And any time Virgil says anything to him, he just flippin' melts. You'll see. Meet you at our house, 3:30?" Remy asked. Patton nodded before the bell rang.

Patton arrived at their house. He wore his cardigan over his polo due to the slight chill of the December Florida weather. He knocked upon the door, to which, Roman almost immediately opened the door. He looked far different than he did at school. He had applied makeup, lipstick, mascara and eyeshadow, instead of his pants and a baseball tee, he wore a deep red skirt, a white tee shirt and his red, gold and white letterman jacket. He looked like he was going to go on a date.
