AN- This is not the same thing as sleep deprived | Remile, that is a joke based off of the fact that Remy is sleep, but this is based on something that has been happening to me lately.
AU- Human, they're still in school (despite being released during quarantine)

"Alright, this is your last assignment of the year, got it?" Mr Mell said. He was everyone's favourite teacher, but he could get frustrated if they didn't work, meaning at the beginning of end of the year because they would slack off more. "This is a partnered assignment. Unfortunately, it's assigned, so I'm sorry. And to get it out of the way, Logan is partnered with Patton." He said. Logan was the smartest kid in class and everyone wanted to be his partner in assignments. The class was filled with groans and glares at Patton, making him nervous. "Andi and Dominic, Eli and Daniel, Aaron and Mark, Conner and Evan, Zoe and Alana, Roman and Virgil--"

Virgil stopped listening because he didn't have to. Instead, he doodled in his Little Book of Horrors, which is what he called the notebook he drew in (due to the fact that his drawings tended to be creepier)

When Mr Mell stopped talking, everyone scattered, and Virgil was approached by Roman.

"I guess we're partners then." He said, making Virgil look up. Oh yeah. He had forgotten who he was partnered. "He probably shouldn't have assigned it on a Friday, you'll probably have to come to my house tomorrow." Virgil sighed. The weekend was the one time he had to himself. He knew all he would be doing is sleeping. "And class is going to--" Roman was cut off by the bell ringing. "That." He said before walking out. Virgil struggled to hold all of his books as he left the room.

Virgil stumbled down the sidewalk with his full book bag on his back, and his Little Book of Horrors in his arms. He wasn't very strong, not at all, but he walked to school every day, and walked home every day. He always left after everyone else had left because he didn't want to be made fun of, like he had been before. He heard a beeping beside him.

"Hey, Virgil, is that you?" Someone in a car asked. He looked through the window, seeing Patton and Roman. He walked up to look through the passenger window better.

"No." He said, making Patton laugh.

"What are you still doing here?" He asked. Virgil sighed. These people were such social creatures and he was too anxious to leave.

"I usually leave later than anyone else. Why are you guys still here?"

"Oh, well, I had cheer-leading auditions for the middle-schoolers. They'll be joining us next year. And Roman was so kind as to pick me up so that I didn't have to bother my moms." Patton said, smiling brightly.

"Do you need a ride? You look like you're struggling, are you okay?" Roman asked. Virgil stopped himself from rolling his eyes. It was annoying with how many questions he was asking, but he did seem to mean well.

"No, I'm not gonna cause you more trouble."

"It's no trouble at all, Virgil. Right, Patton?" Roman asked.

"Of course not, I don't mind."

"I insist, Virgil." Virgil sighed before getting into the back seat. "Address?" Roman asked as he started driving.

"157 Stokes Road." He said, just loud enough to be heard, looking out the window into the street. Patton turned to look at Virgil.

"Kiddo, you should get buckled," Patton said with a small pout. Virgil rolled his eyes, but struggled to take off his book bag and buckled. "So you guys..." Patton started and Roman shook his head.

"Patton, don't." He said kind of quietly.

"Partnered on Mr Mells project, huh?" Patton asked. Virgil nodded.
