AN- This mostly takes place when Emile is 12, but the beginning starts wen Emile's like 8 months.

Logan was in their kitchen, drinking coffee while Patton fed Emile in the dining area. See, Logan couldn't be around when Patton fed Emile because Emile wouldn't eat. He had his quirks like that. Like, Patton couldn't change his diaper, Logan had to do it. They balanced out nicely.

Patton walked into the kitchen as Logan sipped his coffee and hugged him from behind.

"Oh, Lo-Lo, I'm so tired... I didn't get any sleep last night, I was grading papers, making corrections... and then Emmy needed Ba-ba." Ba-Ba was a stuffed lamb that Emile had. Of course, Emile couldn't talk, but he associated the babbling 'Ba-Ba' with the lamb. "I just want to sleep, Lo..." He said, resting his head on Logan's back.

"I'm sorry, Patton." Logan said. "Who's looking after our baby right now?"

"Don't worry, Violet's here." Patton said. Logan nodded. He rested his hand on Patton's caressing Patton's first knuckle with his index finger when he got an idea. "Today's Saturday."

"Mhm." Patton hummed.

"It's Saturday, Patton, neither of us have work. I can take Emile for the day." Logan said. Patton smiled, but sighed.

"What about feeding him?"

"Violet can help. She's great with him." It's true. Emile loved his Aunt Violet.

"Logan, I can't put you through that." Patton said. Logan shook his head.

"I insist. You deserve it. You spend all day with 14 and 15 year old's and come home to an 8 month old"

"Logan, you spend all day with our 8 month old." Patton said. Logan nodded.

"Yes, but I get sleep. Patton, just this once." That was a lie. "Please. Let me do this for you." Patton sighed.

"Fine."

That day, Logan arrived back later that night, Emile fast asleep in his arms. He put Emile in the crib with Ba-Ba. He checked in Patton's room, who was sleeping happily. Logan sat down on the bed, petting Patton's hair. He stared at Patton for a solid minute before getting up. Patton reached up and grabbed Logan's arm.

"Logan..." He mumbled.

"Patton?" He asked.

"Don't go..." He said. "Stay." He said. "Please." Logan sighed, but sat down, laying down next to him. Patton hugged Logan tightly.

That was the moment... Logan realised...

He realised why he hadn't been dating lately. He realised why he rejected girls when they approached him. He realised why after a date, he was so happy just to see Patton. He realised why he did this today.

He realised how much he loved Patton.

"Emile! Time for school, kiddo!" Patton exclaimed. Emile yawned as he walked through the door.

"I still don't like that I have to go so early." Patton rolled his eyes.

"Kiddo, I love you, but you once kept me up for 48 hours because Logan was at a wedding and you kept throwing up what I fed you. You have nothing to complain about." Patton said. Emile tried to laugh but just yawned.

"Okee. Let's go." He said. "Bye-Bye, mama!" Emile exclaimed.

"Bye. Emile!" Logan yelled from his room. Patton and Emile left.
