AN- Sorry that I haven't updated in a while, I've been sidetracked with my Adopted story. And I'm sick and depressed right now, ain't that just the best combination. Being stuck in bed because of sickness and because you have no motivation to get up!Word Count- 2996
Patton was anxious about school. He was a great student, yes, he's always been a, not so straight, straight A student, but this year he was starting anew at Rainbow Quartz High School. He didn't know how people were here, he didn't know how he would be treated or the people to go around, all he knew was what periods he was in. At least he wasn't alone, it was freshman year after all, but he was by himself with no friends.
"Hey, Logan, did you hear about that new guy?" Virgil asked at lunch. Remy laughed.
"Of course he has! Everyone has!" He said. Logan shook his head.
"No, in fact, I haven't. Remy, please avoid jumping to conclusions in the future. What is so important about him?" Logan asked. Remy laughed slightly.
"Nothing, really. I was just curious." Virgil said.
"What does this new student look like?" Logan asked. "It is good to know for the future situation that I see him."
"Well, he..." Virgil motioned towards the door with his hand. "He looks like that."
Standing in the doorway was a boy with curly dark blonde hair, light brown eyes, wearing a girls uniform, which was a short plaid skort (skirt-shorts), a white button-up shirt, knee-high white socks, black flats and a dark blue cardigan, that was wrapped around his shoulders to show his black suspenders. Roman was with him. Roman was Virgil's best friend, and huge crush. While Virgil was mostly looking at Roman, Logan was entranced by the new guy.
"I... um, what's his name?" Logan asked before noticing that Roman and the new guy were walking towards him. He couldn't breathe.
"And this is where I sit with all my friends. Which is just four people but still. Feel free to find another table or join me, Virgil and the plebs!" Roman exclaimed. The new guy giggled. It made Logan's heart figuratively jump out of his chest.
"Could I sit with you then?" He asked. Roman nodded and they sat at the table, Roman naturally sitting next to Virgil and the new guy sat next to Logan, which most definitely did not help his situation.
His mind overfilled with compliments, anxiety and thoughts about the new boy. His heart rate increased and blood flowed to his face, he couldn't think anything but gay, he wanted to get to know this boy, hear his voice, make him laugh, protect him from harm, let him know how beautiful he was. He wanted to--
"Hi! I'm Patton Hart! I'm new here, what's your name?" Despite how Logan was feeling inside, it didn't change how he made himself look.
"I am Logan Kroft. If you'll excuse me now, I am feeling slightly ill." He excused before standing up and walking to the restroom.
By the time he arrived, the feeling faded. What on earth was that?
He thought for a solid... 3 minutes before settling on the fact that it must have been a stomach and headache before leaving back to the cafetorium. He took a seat next to Patton again."Hey, Logan! Are you alright?" He asked. Logan nodded in confirmation. "Well, that's good! Could I ask you a question?" Patton requested. Logan raised an eyebrow.
"You just have." Patton laughed, assuming that it was a joke.
"That's funny, Logan! But seriously, I have a question."
