Patton and Logan has narration, so... have fun.

My name is Patton Hart. I like boys.

Wow, Pat, way to make a first impression, haha...
Sorry. I know that it's frowned upon. I'm wrong. The way I am is wrong. Do you know what's worse. I'm in love with my best friend.

Patton's cuddling with Logan, who's asleep. Patton opens his eyes and looks up at Logan, his eyes drawing towards Logan's lips. He thinks for a second before sitting up and combing his hands through his hair, pulling it stressfully in the process.

"Stop it!" He whispered, his breath heavy and fast. Tears pricked at his eyes. He quickly wiped them away, taking a deep breath before laying back down, cuddling back into Logan's chest, convinced that it didn't matter.

Can you blame me? He's so attractive. He's so smart. He's so nice to me, he cares.
I've liked him for so long. It's so stupid. I'm a boy, he's a boy, it's wrong.

During class, Patton was staring at Logan, biting at his plastic pencil.

"Patton." The teacher said, getting his attention. "Pay attention."

"Sorry, ma'am."

I tried to convince myself that I like girls... but...

"Patton!" A girl said as she came up to him.

"Yes, Katie?" Patton asked kindly. She bowed her head in nerves.

"I like you! Could we please go on a date?" She asked loudly, drawing people near. There were sounds that one could only be explained as jealous coming from the crowd. Patton scanned her and thought of his experiences with her. If there was any girl that he would like, this would be her.

"I'm sorry, Katie, but... I just don't feel that way about you. I'm sorry."

I couldn't do it.
I tried to tell Logan how I felt once... It wasn't... good.

"Logan?" Patton asked nervously.

"Yes, Patton?"

"I like you... A lot." He said. "More than I should... like how a man would love a woman." He said. He stared at his fidgeting hands. Logan adjusted his glasses.

"Patton, we can't be together." Patton sighed.

"I know."

"But I would love to continue being your close friend." Patton nodded and gave a weak smile.

"Right! Of course! I would too!"

For how long I've liked Logan, I think that I'm supposed to be a girl. I couldn't feel this way about him otherwise. It's impossible.

"Good morning, Patton!" His mother, Ava, rang. Patton opened his eyes tiredly. "Happy birthday!" She exclaimed. Patton smiled weakly, still tired.

"Yes, happy birthday, Patton." Logan said. He had slept over in anticipation of Patton's birthday.

"Thanks." He said before getting up. Logan got up, heading for his bag.

"Downstairs there are pancakes!" Ava said in a sing-song voice before leaving the room. Patton tried not to stare as Logan changed, only slightly failing. Oh, did I say failing? I meant succeeding. He changed as quickly as he could and they both walked down the stairs.

"Happy birthday kiddo," His father, Jimmy said.

"Thanks, papa." Patton said, sitting next to Logan.
