"Awe, he's beautiful, Val." Patton ogled. Valerie smiled at her sleeping infant son.

"Yes. Truly magnificent."

"Your Highness, my compatriots and I wanted to give him gifts as token of our respect." Logan said. Patton smiled, looking at the child.

"And of our love, right, Logan?" Patton said. Logan nodded.

"That would be lovely." She said, allowing them to her child. Now, usually, she would not let some random people near her baby, but she's known these fairy's their whole lives. And although she knew they would cast spells on him, she knew that they were good omens.

"I hear by bestow on thee the voice of angels, Prince Roman." Thomas said. By no surprise, music was one of the things that he had valued most. That, and pizza. Patton stepped up to the child.

"Prince Roman, I hear by declare that you shall always be kind, even to those you don't yet know. And in return, they shall care for you as well." Patton said, kindly. He believed kindness and morality was very important.

Before Logan could speak, a puff of green and yellow smoke appeared.

"Val, did you truly think that you could have this party without Dee and I?" Remus asked. He laughed, slightly crazy. Patton stood in front of Roman in defense, Logan and Thomas, joining his stance.

"Oh, no need to be so protective. He won't be hurt." Dee said. Valerie grimaced at the couple.

"You shouldn't be here, Remus and Dee." Patton said.

"Yes, Patton is right. Move on, you futile fairies." Logan said, his voice cold. Remus and Dee laughed.

"Oh, guys, we're just here to give our gift to the young prince." Remus said.

"There's no way you're going near my child." Valerie said. Remus laughed, lifting his staff.

"We don't need to." Dee clutched the staff too, and they both slammed it onto the ground.

"cum octonis iterum natalibus et pungunt quasi digito volubilis rota fuerit fusum" They said together. Logan looked at them, slightly surprised, while everyone else looked confused.

"What?" Patton asked.

"Among his sixteenth birthday, he'll prick his finger on a spinning wheel and die." Logan translated. Remus laughed.

"Well, we'd love to stay, but alas, we can not! But to be sure this happens..." Something appeared near Dee, it looked like a bassenette.

"... We're leaving our own son, Virgil, here. Goodbye Queen Valerie. Patton. Thomas. Logan." Dee finished.

"Shall we never meet again." Remus said as he was giving a toast, but they disappeared after it was said. Chatter filled the room.

"Lo, there's got to be something you can do!" Patton said, worried. "You haven't given your good omen yet, can you reverse it?" Patton asked, tugging at Logan's arm.

"Patton, my magic isn't nearly as strong as Remus and Dee's combined. The most I can do is alter it. I'm sorry." Patton sighed before his eyes filled with hope.

"Then don't reverse it! Just alter it! Like, uh, uh, uh! He falls into a deep sleep until woken up by his love, maybe with a, uh..." He looked up to Logan nervously. " a kiss..." He said, nervously.

"Okay." Logan said. And that's what he did. He looked over at the other child.

While all were leaving, Patton pulled Logan behind.
