AN- This takes place about 3 weeks in the future

Patton was in Logan's bed again. Because what a surprise that is. (It's not). They finished... What they were doing, now they were both kinda just laying there.

"We really shouldn't do that again," Logan said. He liked it, but they weren't together. It kind of hurt him.

"But, Lo, it's not a big deal. We're just friends, right? It doesn't matter. Totally platonic friends who have sex, it's totally fine!" Patton giggled and bit Logan's neck. "Doesn't it feel good, Lo? Don't you like having sex with me?" Logan blushed but turned his back to Patton.

"Yes, it's amazing, but we can't keep doing this. Now we won't stop immediately, we can slowly work our way out, like an addiction, but we can't keep doing this." Logan told him. Patton's face fell. Tears filled Logan's eyes. He loved Patton... that was the issue. It was hard to keep doing that when he knew that they would just be friends when it ended.

"B-But Logan--"

"I'm sorry, Patton."

"I thought you liked sex with Patton?" Roman asked, confused. Logan groaned.

"I do, it's amazing, he's so--"

"Don't need the details."

"Right, sorry. But I have feelings for Patton,  it creates an issue with Patton's idea. The idea was that we could have casual sex together because we don't have feelings for each other. But I love Patton, I know Patton if he found out he wouldn't even want to be my friend," Logan hugged a light blue throw pillow that was on his bed.

"Logan wants to stop having sex with you? What's the big deal, Pat? It's just sex," Virgil told him. Patton was weeping on his bed.

"Because to me, it's not just sex, I love Logan. But he doesn't know, it's my way of showing love. When you and Roman... 'make love', is it just sex?" Patton asked Virgil. Virgil blushed and sunk into his jacket.

"Of course not. But we're in a relationship! It's no secret that we love each other," Virgil said. "For you two, however, and you can never tell him that I'm the one who told you, it is a secret that you love each other." Patton's eyes shot open.

"You think Logan loves me?" Patton asked. Virgil rolls his eyes.

"I know he loves you."

"How?"

"Roman just texted me about it." Virgil said, showing him his phone

Roman- Logan just told me that he's in love with Patton. This totally works out, rite?

Virgil- Totally, but they're hopeless.

"He knows that I love Logan?" Patton asked, slightly annoyed and afraid.

"I'm sorry Patton, but communication is everything to us! We love each other, we tell each other everything. Sorry though, seriously," Virgil told Patton. Patton blushed.

"I wish Logan and my relationship like that. But of course not."

"Patton, you could be, you can just tell him how you feel, ask him out, he'll say yes!" Virgil urged him. Patton sniffled.

"I'll try."

School now. Great.
School now. Great.

"Hello, Patton." Logan greeted. Patton offered him a small smile before turning away from him, trying not to cry. Logan telling him that he wanted to stop sleeping together was like breaking up to Patton. It was the only way that he showed his true affection to Logan. I mean, yeah he could totally just say 'Logan, I love you, and I'm sorry for not telling you with words and instead only using my body to show you,' but who does that? HA! No one! Not Patton, at least! Nor Logan.  And why would I, he just doesn't--

"Patton, are you alright?" Logan asked, noticing Patton's awfully sad expression. "Is it about what I said the other day? Know that I did not mean it as anything against you, I merely think that it is not healthy in our platonic friendship to pursue those times of relations." Logan said logically. Patton sighed silently and put on a false smile and discretely wiped the tears that had drawn down his face.

"I-It's nothing. It's totally fine. I'm totally fine." Patton lied. Logan took Patton's hand. "W-What are you doing, Lo?" He asked as Logan lead him through the halls.

"Finding a place more private." He said, his voice stern. Patton laughed nervously.

"Why? I thought that we weren't--"

"I don't want to talk in front of all these people." He said as he lead Patton into a stall of the bathroom. "Okay, what's wrong?" He asked.

"I told you--"

"Yes, you've said that you're fine, but I know you better than that, Patton. Make this easy and just tell me what's wrong. You can't convince me that you're alright. I need to know; what is wrong?" He asked. This didn't help Patton's feelings, Logan being like this, sweet in his own way. Logan was holding Patton's hands gently.

"I don't... you'll hate me if I tell you." He said sadly, his head hanging and looking at where his hands met Logan's. Logan took one of his hands away slowly.

"Patton..." He said, gently lilting Patton's head up so that they were making eye contact. "I could never... ever hate you." Logan said, his voice filled with love and passion.

"Logan..." Patton muttered. "Logan, I love you."

"I love you too, Patton."

"No, you don't understand, I'm in love with you." Patton said, trying to help Logan understand what he already understood.

"Patton... I do understand. And I'm also in love with you." Logan said, causing Patton's lips to part slightly in surprise. "I want to be your boyfriend."

"I want to be your boyfriend."

"Patton, could I... could I kiss you?" He asked nervously. Patton smiled.

"Yes, of course, Logan." Patton stood on his tip-toes to reach Logan's lips with his own.

The kiss wasn't like their others. It wasn't powered by lust and it wasn't rough or sloppy. It was filled with love and it was gentle yet passionate. It was what Patton wanted. It was what Logan wanted. It was perfect for them. Being with each other... not just as friends... but as boyfriends.
