[Hey guys! Final exams are coming up so I thought I'd give you guys this little present for the hold up that might be coming soon >.< Thanx for reading this far and I hope you enjoy!]

I cursed as my gym bag dropped to the floor. My breath caught in my chest as pain shot through my foot at the impact. Without thinking I slammed my fist forward, hitting the metal of my locker door with a loud clang that echoed through the locker rooms. My already tired muscles seized as a more intense pain spiked through my system.

My blood singed in rage goading me to punch the door a second time. Staggering away from the temptation to do just that, I forced my worn out legs to the bench in the centre of the room. Examining my fist I shook my head irritably trying to clear my thoughts.

“Brilliant…” I grumbled as I noted the small cuts that began to slowly bleed out as I flexed my hand.

Watching the wound I was strangely reminded of the cuts I had seen on Mia’s right arm as she ran from me… minutes after rejecting me. Gritting my teeth I pushed my hand through my hair and squeezed my eyes shut. Even after a whole morning of torturous exercise drills I still managed to find a way to think about the one thing I was trying to forget.

Taking a deep breath I shoved the irritating thoughts aside and pushed myself off the bench. Crouching low to grab the fallen bag I moved back to the locker but before I could shove it in and retrieve a fresh set of clothes the sound of footsteps caught my attention. Looking up, I caught sight of a startled Kane coming towards me from the shower area. He looked from me to the rest of the locker room, his face a strange mixture of suspicion and relief as he took in the dent in the door along with the empty room.

“Oh- hey Randy, it’s just you.”

Scanning behind him suspiciously, noting the thin film of sweat that covered his brow. I wondered if maybe he had brought another one of his flings to the locker room.

“Yeah, just me…” I replied subtly trying to see behind him.

“You doing okay?” he asked looking towards the dented locker.

Not following his gaze I shrugged as I threw my towel across my shoulder.

“Nothing much,” I took a step forward and he took a step back, “just dropped my bag- you mind dude, I need to hit the showers.” I grumbled as he moved in my way again.

Kane looked troubled as he scratched his head, looking guilty as he glanced towards the shower area.

I sighed, “Look, tell the girl she can come back later. But I don’t want to miss class for one of your quickies.”

Kane grimaced as he glared my way.

“It’s not-”

Before he could say more a muffled crash echoed from the showers and Kane moved quickly towards it. I thought twice about following before curiosity had my feet moving in that direction. It wasn’t long before I came across an unexpected sight.

Kane had Duke McKinley pinned to the ground. It took me a while to realise that Duke was gagged. By the look of things the sound from before must have been him freeing himself as Kane now re-tied the school’s cameraman to one of the pipes against the wall using what looked like his belt.

“What the hell…?”

Kane froze what he was doing as Duke turned to glare at me. The glare softened slightly into a look of surprise as we locked eyes. Turning around Kane shook his head sheepishly.

“This isn’t what it looks like.”

I began to debate whether or not to turn around and leave. I knew Duke’s reputation and though I wasn’t one to judge I also wasn’t someone who could leave the guy in what was clearly a rape-like situation. What was worse was that the culprit was a friend of mine.
