Detention

It was now Thursday, the day of the physical exam for all the heroes within Athena.

This day is usually hectic and would normally take the whole day to get through everyone.

The company only had six specially trained hero doctors who were trained to deal with different and powerful abilities.

Thankfully for you, you already had your physical exam with Nightingale and was set for the next term.

"Stop smirking" Jaeho commanded, not feeling in the mood to be joked on.

"I'm sorry, who knew that they were going to examine 'down there' as well" you chuckled, knowing that Jaeho had to go through the physical exams as well.

"I wish you were a boy so I could punch you"

"Oh, I see how it is. Taking out the gender card to make yourself feel better" you mocked while placing down your spoon on the table, taking a break from eating.

"Making me watch you eat while I can't is just as bad" he said while glaring at you.

"Debatable. Shouldn't we head over?"

"Why are you going?" He asked, not believing that you would walk him over.

"One of the doctors has to go somewhere this morning so they asked me to help them out" you explained while putting your tray away and then walked alongside Jaeho out the door.

"Pfft, do you know how to examine heroes?"

"I'm not examining them, I'm healing them. Plus, I did take a first aid and health course in the academy" both of you headed to where all the trainers and most experienced heroes were located in training hall number six.

"Please don't let it be a guy, please don't let it be a guy"

"What are you saying right now?" You looked at him like he was crazy.

"I don't want a guy to examine me, you know how strange that is?" Slapping his arm in shame, you furrowed your brows at him.

"They're doctors who save lives and you won't get your butt examined because he's a guy? I thought you were better than this"

"Ow! They could save the universe if they wanted to, I'm still not letting them examine my butt!" He exclaimed but unfortunately for him, he had said it a little too loudly and thus attracted everyone's attention.

You tried to hold your laughter in as Jaeho hid behind you while pulling you to join the que. Trying to calm your friend down, you heard a familiar voice say your name.

"Y/N?" Turning around, you looked to see who had said your name and saw that it was one of the most experienced and youngest of the heroes in the country, call your name.

"Sehun? Y- you're here?" You knew Sehun as your academy classmate who you had managed to make friends with. Because of his skills and powers, he was able to skip a year of the academy and join your class while you were in your second year.

He was a nice kid who wanted to be a hero and save lives. He was friends with everyone and loved by everyone, hence being one of the most well known heroes in training in South Korea.

However, you two had to go your separate ways at the end of the academic course and after a specific incident.

Sehun continued to become a hero and you didn't.
