You didn't know if it was just your superstitious nature, but something was off.

You felt like the eyes on you and Kangjoon had doubled from the previous days. They had kept following you from the moment you entered the park and until now, which was more than an hour ago.

"Where do we need to be?" Snapping out of your thoughts, you looked at Kangjoon who was currently eating away at a large waffle that he had got a few minutes ago.

"Oh, we need to go to the pink flowers" you responded before pointing in the direction you were supposed to go. Nodding his head, the both of you started walking over in silence.

After hearing the masked male's answer before, it had made to rethink about the whole situation you were in. Why is he really here? What does he need to know that involves me?, you thought anxiously.

For him to have answered like that, there must have been a reason. Or so you thought so.

"...am I making you feel uncomfortable?"

"Uncomfortable? No no no, I'm just tired is all..." you said unconvincingly.

"Tired? At a festival?" He retaliated while raising a brow at you. He then chuckled at your gold fish expression before ruffling your hair.

"You don't need to think about what I said so deeply. What I meant was that it wouldn't be good to be around you because then I won't have time to be the president" taking it all in, you processed what he was saying before smiling slightly at the other.

"I'm sorry... it just caught me off guard is all. Let's just enjoy-"

"P-president?" Turning to the left at the noise source, you saw Jin standing there while wearing a mask that all Eros employees had to wear to show everyone that they were the festival staff.

It was a simple mask that had the Eros logo on it and to match, he had a pink dress shirt that had the top button open to show a bit of his toned chest and white ripped jeans that complimented his long legs.

"Jin?" Realising that the secret was out in the open, you flickered your eyes between the two to see how to act next. How am I going to get him out of this one?!

"...the president of the chess club! He's really busy around this time so it's a miracle that he's even here" even you were impressed by your reasonable lie.

Jin looked unconvinced as he alternated his hard stare between the two of you before returning to his normal, confident posture.

"I see... Anyway, can I talk to you, Y/N?" Your stomach sunk at his words, knowing that the end of the 'talk' could end terribly.

But Kangjoon's words from before reminded you that Jin was an important person in your life and you didn't want it to end because of a disagreement.

"...sure. I'll meet you later at the pink flowers, okay?" The dark haired male understood that you wanted to sort things out with the plant manipulator and decided to leave you two to it before walking away.

"...shall we sit down?" You asked while pointing to a wooden bench to the right of you. Nodding his head, Jin followed you before sitting along with on the bench, making sure that there was a comfortable enough space between the two of you.

"...I wanted to... apologise" shocked, you continued to stay silent and listened on.

"I probably jumped to conclusions too quickly about Jimin... he really seems like a good kid but I couldn't help but see myself in him..." confused, you urged him to explain himself.

"What do you mean by that?"

"... I don't know if you know this or not but, I come from a very high class family which means that everything was given to me on a golden platter - even my powers.
Because of that, I grew up obnoxious and thought I was better than everyone... until I realised that everyone had control over me and that they were the ones who determined who I was and who I was going to be. I don't want Jimin to become like me... I want him to be better than me" you never took your eyes away from the handsome male, not wanting to forget the sincerity in his expression as he told you about his past and what his thoughts are.

You were surprised to hear that he saw himself in Jimin and that he wanted him to become better, making you think that there was hope in mending their friendship.

"...you know when I met you three years ago, I was at a really bad time in my life. I had no self confidence, believed that I was useless and that I dragged people down... that was until I got to know you more. I thought you were a show off who always made people think you were better than them. They trained hard but you were progressing much harder than them without even trying. One night, I came down to get something I left and there you were, training until your body couldn't handle it anymore. You really opened my eyes, Jin. You made me realise that people who try their best will get something out of it... now that you know, you can make Jimin realise that" Jin was astonished to hear that you knew about his secret night training habits.

"You... saw me? And you didn't tell anyone?" You were unsure what he had meant by that.

"Why would I?"

"... everyone back then wanted to find a fault in me so that they could feel better about themselves... I couldn't show them my vulnerable state, that would only encourage them to feel superior than me and maybe try to use me... like the other people in the past" he answered solemnly, seeing flashbacks of when he used to live with his parents and was surrounded by power hungry people.

He then felt a hand on his back, making him look up at you with a guilty look.

"The Jin I know wouldn't let people trample all over him like that" smiling in thanks at your encouragement, Jin suddenly remembered something, making him smirk widely.

"So... does this mean you were a peeping tom?"

"It was by accident!"
